No complaints on the food; it's all good, be it their free breakfast or their other priced menu items (especially love their upmaa!). But the problem here is the servers/staff. They have an attitude problem and you need to bear with that. In fact, when I was frequenting there, there was this one somewhat fair-skinned cashier guy at the front counter with his shirt sleeves folded up a notch to fit his arms. He acts like he’s some big superstar and tries to pompously throw his weight around as he pleases; he even gives those irritating cynical stares even when he has made you wait unnecessarily without even apologising. I have admonished him for his behaviour twice but he still insists in behaving the same flippant way, so lookout for and beware of this guy and his ilk there. Only one server, who is rather taller than the others, is okay in his behaviour. Another thing is it will be better if they take down all their lunch and meals menu off the walls as they claimed they are not serving those currently; just stick to what they...
Read moreInfrastructure : Same as any other South Indian hotels.. nothing to be particular about and also nothing to complain about.. Food taste : Ordered typical items like dosai and kichadi. The taste was really good and was happy that the authentic South Indian taste is well maintained, which is not only making the main dish tasty but also making the side dishes like chutney and sambhar equally tasty.. They also had mini coffee which in the recent times have not been in most restaurants. That was a surprise.. Cost : It is the same compared to any counterpart restaurants in the locality or in the city.. worth paying money for these authentic dishes.. Service : I went around 11.30am on a Saturday.. not much crowd.. the service was very good.. Had to see how it is on a crowded day! Final word : its Worth if you want to try South Indian, and for any South Indians out there it's worth your...
Read moreCoconut chutney was contaminated at 9.30 pm n even after asking they served same. After strongly asked, served chutney taken from refrigerator. That was slight better. It will not even take 10 minutes. Else they hv to inform before taking order no coconut chutney. Such a good hotels, hope the supervisory person only try to manage such things in closing hours. If coconut chutney contaminated it should be thrown to dust bin n hv to arrange to serve fresh chutney. Because the owners not only invested, they hv dedicated this service years together (I know this hotel last 35 yrs) n earned goodwill which will be spoil by these persons who is in charge during their absence. We had paper roast n idly. Food, sambar n spicy chutney, service all are good. Hope the owners will take my ABV words in right way n guide their pic to correct...
