Cretya Lite The Extension — Restaurant in Bali

I ordered way too much for myself and paid over 300k. Cretya Lite also charges higher service fee (6.25 or 6.5%) + 10%. Not impressed by neither the service nor food.

This place might be good for breakfast or dinner. When I visited for lunch around 1pm, the vibe was like a middle school (staff member giggling, chatting, especially at the bar) without serving the customer on order.

There were 6 staff members when there were only 2 customers including myself at the restaurant. I received the main before appetizer. The other guy received pizza before his drink (he had to follow up with his drink).

Maybe it was just that day based on other good reviews. Unfortunately, when I visited, the restaurant was noisy and chatty. If it was a small local cafe, the whole vibe was off here.

Without relaxing or enjoyable atmosphere, there's no reason to visit this restaurant as there are other place you can enjoy tasty food.

I was interested in this place because of good rating and aesthetic vibe. I also live very close (2min).

I do not recommend visiting here during lunch time. Try breakfast or dinner...

I had an unforgettable brunch at Cretya Lite – The Extension in central Ubud and genuinely can’t recommend it enough. The brunch menu was absolutely next level – filled with unique and incredibly delicious dishes that you won't find anywhere else. Every plate that came out of the kitchen was beautifully presented and full of flavour. I also tried a few of their cocktails, and they were just as impressive – creative, refreshing, and perfectly balanced.

The decor is super cute, with a clean and stylish aesthetic that fits perfectly with the vibe of Ubud. It’s the kind of place you want to sit and stay a while, and take a few photos while you’re at it!

A special shout out to Ogie for the amazing service – so friendly and attentive. And huge thanks to Chef Wayan Jelo for creating such a standout menu. You can tell a lot of passion and creativity goes into every dish.

A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Service

I stumbled upon Cretya Lite by chance, initially just looking for a restroom, but I ended up staying for a drink—and I’m so glad I did! This place has a cozy, inviting vibe that makes it hard to leave once you walk in.

The highlight of my visit was Yuliya, whose service was absolutely outstanding. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, making me feel welcome even though I hadn’t planned to stay. It’s rare to encounter someone who turns a simple visit into such a pleasant experience.
