We started with the Breaded Chicken Parmigiana (120k), featuring a thick yet juicy chicken breast. The spicy pomodoro sauce combined with melted cheese was simply perfection. The Pizza Pesto Prosciutto (90k) had a crispy thin dough topped with delicious prosciutto, making it a delight for pizza lovers.

The atmosphere at Kebun Bistro is enchanting, with old-fashioned decor and architecture that adds to the Italian vibe. We particularly enjoyed the extensive wine selection, allowing us to pair our meals with the perfect wine.

The staff are friendly and attentive, which enhanced our dining experience. For those visiting, the bistro is located in the heart of Ubud, making it a convenient stop during a day of exploring.

Update our 2nd visit: We back to this restaurant considering our last dinner was superb, ordered Classic Linguine Carbonara (110k) and Pan Fried Fish of the Day (145k) based on recommendation from the server, but turns out both the food was disappointing, the fish was smelly and the carbonara was clumpy, when we asked the server told us that chef that day is different from last time we visited, we hope that this restaurant keep their standard so that customers will not...

So here is my review for my "early dinner" at Kebun Bistro. Actually i'm not sure whether this one is Italian or somewhat restaurant, but I really recomend this place for you to visit. Both side! The food and the place both are Greattt😍😍 . . So the place has a very unique decoration which i believe you will not going to missed the moment to take photos there! 📷📸 . . 1st picture = MOELLEUX AU CHOCOLATE - 55k This one is highly recomended👍👍👍👍😻😍😙 This is kind of Chocolate Lava cake, but i've never taste somethin like this. The chocolate won't let you boring to keep you eat till the last spoon. And the strawberry sauce is perfect to complete the chocolate lava.. this must be the thing i'll go for in Ubud, Even i need to wait for 20minutes to have this awesome dessert. They baked it fresh only when we order it. . 2nd picture = ROASTED BUTTERFISH - 125k😍 This one is special menu on the day, so maybe you will not abble to find it on menu. So the fish roasted and i always love fish with lemonade taste, so i squeeze that lemon on it. Had a nice lunch a few days ago with the escargot, a Caesar salad and 2 Bloody Marys so I made a reservation & came here again for dinner. The French Onion Soup was done well, but was not good enough that I wanted to finish it.

The Caesar Salad today was nothing to write home about and seemed “sparse” and I finished it as I was hungry.

The prawn skewers were pathetic. Tasteless and just boring. The spinachy (greens) were bland. I don’t eat carbs so left the couscous. Finished all 6 prawns across the 3 skewers and a couple of the tomatoes but left most of the dish for the wait staff to clear. Strangely, they didn’t seemed to fussed.

Now the dessert is what gets the cake. Ordered the chocolate soufflé. Says on the menu that we should expect a 20 min wait. So I naturally “expected” a soufflé with a “rise”. Nope! Cut my spoon into it and it seemed more like a lava (molten) thing that a soufflé. Had 2.5 dessert spoons and stopped. Told them I was done. They didn’t charge me for this. The wait team were overall good although it didn’t feel like they had enough for a full house indoor section. I filled a feedback form (see attached), but not worth my it for the price.
