Wana Restaurant — Restaurant in Bali

My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this restaurant after noticing its good reviews. At first, we weren’t sure if we could even get in, since it’s connected to a hotel and you have to pass through a gate manned by security. But we simply asked the guard if we were allowed to enter, and he kindly waved us through.

As soon as we stepped inside, we were greeted by beautiful scenery, live music, and the aroma of incredible food. But what truly stood out was the service. We had just finished a long walk and showed up a bit sweaty and dressed in sporty clothes, yet the staff welcomed us with warmth and enthusiasm. One of them shared stories about the restaurant and their homegrown ingredients, and they seemed genuinely delighted that we had come from outside the hotel. They were even curious how we discovered the place.

To top it all off, after our dessert, they surprised us with complimentary marshmallows and guided us to a cozy bonfire to roast them. Where else in Bali do you get that kind of experience?

After a week of dining across Canggu, Uluwatu, and Ubud, I can confidently say this was our favorite dining experience—and the price was no higher than...

Hands down, this restaurant offered some of the best food that we had in Bali!

My wife and I were really apprehensive of Bali Belly after reading experiences of various people who had visited Bali, and were searching for restaurants where we could have some delicious, safe food and came across this restaurant. The food at this restaurant was so good that we came back here multiple times. We really enjoyed the Nasi Goreng, Mie Goreng and Nasi Bakar with some sambhal. The prices were also pretty decent for the quality of food that you are getting and most important of all, no stomach issues after eating over here!

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some delicious (and safe to have!)...

This restaurant is situated in amongst the grounds of Ibah in Ubud. Had lunch with a friend in very peaceful surroundings overlooking a lotus pond. Their staff are really friendly & attentive. The menu caters for those wanting to try authentic local dishes to international. Our juices were made fresh & they also have a nice organic tea selection. Its easy to find as the hotel shares the entrance to the Campuhan ridge walk, just tell the security staff you want to go to their restaurant & they will provide you with directions.
