Bodas Bistro & Bar — Restaurant in Bandung City

The place is remarkably nice, but unfortunately my family lunch experience at the restaurant was terrible. We took the table by the window and we found flies flying around the window. It took 3 times for the staff to get them before we no longer see any flies. We waited for around 40 minutes to get main courses served and that even with one of them being wrong (we ordered french fries and the staff served us mashed potato -- without confirmation). I ordered a medium tenderloin steak and it was served cold and dry which was super disappointing. I cancelled Canard Du Bodas order because I lost appetite after 40 minutes of waiting in bad service. Pistachio nya enak tapi baileys kurang masuk.. Saya juga pesan 1 whole cake (nougat?)... It was DRENCHED in rum.. The rum was overpowering- sayang nya cake nya jadi pahit. Note, I don't mind alcoholic foods and drinks but I just couldn't enjoy the cake. Seperti pake sebotol rum... Sayang sekali because I was really looking forward to the cakes only to be disappointed. I LOVED the cake when I ordered from here last year but this year was so disappointing.

In addition, saya makan langsung di Bistro sama pesan via WhatsApp. Host nya sangat ramah tapi product knowledge nya kurang. Whatsapp juga needs A LOT of improvement- could be more tentative, responsive and communicative. Had the impression 1) was either too busy or 2) forced to...

Had my first visit to Bodas Bistro & Bar and it was such a pleasant surprise! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish we ordered was well-seasoned, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality.

The atmosphere is cozy yet spacious, making it a perfect spot for everything from casual meals to special family gatherings. We came with our extended family and everyone felt comfortable — the seating arrangement was generous, and the staff were attentive without being overbearing.
