MEZE STEAKHOUSE — Restaurant in Bandung City

Compare to other fine dining food i’ve ever tried, sorry but this steak it’s just ok and not worth the money. The portion of meze (the side dish) is tend to be very small . I believe some customers feel the same way for the price they are paying, cuz it is tend to be quite expensive . I saw some other guests are also leaving after seeing the price from the menu .

Pay IDR 800K for 2 people after tax service. The IDR 449k for a 300g steak ONLY (for 2 person) and the mandatory IDR 250k side dish package, which couldn't be ordered separately. The meze (side dish) had small portions with basic flavors, felt expensive.

The cold potato dish was firm and undercooked, and the cauliflower seem not to our liking and not a good combination with the cheese. Taste just so basic .

Can improove much better with the price or the food.

We went there last nite and wow by the ambiance and service of the team. My husband and I were amazed by their personal touch with the sign of my name with message on the table and even for my 50th birthday celebration by the team (they did not believe he's 50 🥹) The steaks were great we had the rump and rib eye in medium rare ( the serving was very fast so it get cold easily, but not a major issue) with free refill fries which we only had in one serving because we also ordered the lasagna, which was delicious, and capsicum that blew our mind! I have high expectations, but Meze does NOT deliver. The soup, hot meze, and even the steak was served at room temp, NOT HOT AT ALL when it arrived on our table. They informed us that they only have 2 out of 4 steak types available that day, which is highly disappointing as well. We were not informed whatsoever when we made and paid for the reservation. Steak was tender and flavor was ok, portion was small, not worth the price we paid at all. And it’s weird that as a steakhouse that they did not serve wine. We will not...
