The restaurant itself exudes a welcoming atmosphere, thanks in large part to the friendly and attentive staff. The team members greeted me with warm smiles and were quick to assist with seating and menu recommendations. Read moreHad an early dinner here today and we ordered Pork Charsiew Fried Noodle, Broccoli Garlic Sauce, Kungpao Chicken and 2 iced tea. In short this is what I woud rate for every dish and drink.
Iced tea : 4. No tea flavour, so bland, tasteless and even after 1 shot of simple syrup it was still not sweet. We had to ask for a better iced tea that later came with a dirt/ insect in its syrup. They eventually did not charge us the tea though.
Pork charsiew fried noodle: 6 ( too bad cause it could be 8). On the menu / picture we could see 7-8 pieces of pork charsiew slices but it came out only with 3 pieces of charsiew. We told the waitress about it and she said it was how their pork charsiew noodle supposed to be : with 3 slices of charsiew. Seriously? Change the pic of the misleading menu then!
Broccoli garlic sauce: 6 The veggie was a bit too hard, not enough juice/ sauce and a quite too strong/ over powering taste of garlic .
Chicken kungpao: 5 It was strangely and shockingly sour! When we told the waitress about that she said that it was the way they cook chicken kungpao ( with some dash of vinegar) well maybe they poured too much vinegar today. Anyway it was the worst chicken kungpao we have ever eaten.
In addition to our disappointing dinner at this resto, the service was not great either. We have booked a table yet we still needed to beg to get a better table with better seats ( cushioned ones) . Plus the waiter who took our order did not seem to understand what we...
Read moreMade reservation to have Sunday lunch in this place and we were offered to try their dimsum as new menu. Options can be chosen as package or ala cart. Seven of us chose the dimsum, they took everyone’s name for the different order so we think it would be fair to simplify serving it. This is chinese resto so ordering dimsum couldn’t go wrong. Took them an hour to serve first dimsum ever, then other order are coming without the waiter knowing which one is whose. Everyone seems frustrated and confused with the serving system, and we were pretty upset and hungry. Taste was average, but the waiting time and waiters don’t know whose orders, was unacceptable as they took everyone’s name and orders. They just chuck it on the table and leave them to us. The girl that greet us at front scolded me for asking (again and again) when our food will be served. Desserts are served along together with other food, and there’s more upcoming order after (cold) dessert orders served. I have guests that starving waiting 1.5 hours for their dimsum, frustrated getting wrong food, and I feel upset and embarrassed since I was suggesting the resto from first place. Don’t sell dimsum unless you have good ordering system. Will never come back again, at least in...
