Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Chanchan with my family, and it was truly a memorable experience. We dined at their private room.
Banchan: One of the standout features of our meal was the banchan. Each dish was fresh and bursting with flavor. The variety, from the tangy kimchi and radish to the perfectly seasoned spinach, complemented our main courses beautifully. It was a delightful way to start the meal and set the tone for what was to come.
BBQ Marinated Beef: The marinated beef was a highlight. Tender and flavorful, it grilled to perfection right at our table. Each bite was succulent, and the marinade added just the right amount of sweetness and spice. We couldn’t get enough of it!
Japchae: The japchae was another favorite. The stir-fried glass noodles were cooked just right, with a wonderful mix of vegetables and a hint of sesame. It was comforting and satisfying, making it the perfect side to our BBQ.
Rose Tteokbokki: We also tried the rose tteokbokki, which was a unique twist on the classic dish. The creamy sauce was deliciously rich, and the chewy rice cakes had the perfect texture. It was a delightful surprise that the whole family loved.
Kimchi Jeon: The kimchi jeon was simply outstanding. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the flavors of the kimchi shone through beautifully. It was the ideal accompaniment to our meal, adding a nice kick that paired well with the grilled meats.
Overall, our dinner at Chanchan was filled with warmth, laughter, and incredible food. The attentive service made us feel welcome, and we left with happy hearts and full stomachs. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy authentic Korean BBQ with family, Chanchan is definitely...
Read moreAll food are fantastic! I truly enjoy them all. But I have to leave them 3 stars because it completely ruined my birthday dinner because they do not separate smoking and non-smoking area during dinner. The next table were practically smoking non stop (and quite fast) and the smokes were going to my table. They do not smoke e-ciggarettes but used the regular cigarrete which pretty hurtful to my nose and eye. Not to mention I ended up smell bad.
It was an AC closed area and I dont understand what on earth did the management even think about making decision that there is no separation between the smoking and non-smoking area. I could not do anything or say anything to the next table because the management allow them to do so.
Its very uncomfortable and if you plan to come with kids or if you just hate ciggarette smoke better go next door or other restaurant. God it was awful like I was having food in a canteen full of...
