1/15 Coffee, Menteng — Restaurant in Jakarta

My 3rd time here, after several visit , the food is consistent , coffee also ok, however today the coffee a bit tasteless , order an cappuccino , taste more milk and not so much of coffee taste. Food was good. However the management need to look into the staffs knowledge and also the way they answer or giving recommendation to customer. I am asking if the pasta is good or the All time savoury , the waiter ant give me the recommendations. When I ask about the savoury , he asked me to read the description on the menu.. I am aware what I can read I am just asking how do they prepare and he can’t answer . When I want to order the savoury , instate of asking to wait for him to check with kitchen on the availability, he straights away tole me , this menu may sold out / usually sold out , then I suggest him to check w kitchen then only he went to check. I think the customer service training really need to look into. After all while I don’t think I want to ask him anymore , I just order whatever I want. Hope the management could have look into this. And I also saw the waiter was eating moving his mouth while standing near to coffee station where all the customer is still there. I understand he can eat but it’s not infront of the customer moving his mouth while doing the work. Hope this small issue could be addressed after all there is Kemang...

I used to go to 1/15 at least once a week before the pandemic hits. So I was very excited when my hubby and I decided to go there to have lunch. However, i was utterly dissapointed when we received our orders. I ordered seafood pasta, it was tasteless. The pasta was not cooked properly as it was still hard. I couldn’t taste anything else other than salty. Then, we had to wait for another 10 minutes for my husband’s order which was chicken corden blue. He said the chicken was ok but it was the food flow that got us dissapointed because it took a very long time to come out while all the chefs were joking and laughing (they have an open kitchen therefore we can see what they’re doing). The worst part of all.. our chicken wings. THE MEAT WAS STILL BLOODY! And don’t even ask about the taste.. there was definitely no taste at all!! I had to ask for salt and pepper to the lazy waitress. The servers.. I’m speechless about that too. Seems unknowledgeable and not friendly at all.

Nothing’s wrong with the coffee BUT.. compared to other coffee shop, i think they’re not special.. I’m not sure what happened to this place 😢 actually it’s heartbreaking cause I used to love this place but after our experience yesterday, I think that will be...

Few months ago I visited this place, and wasn't particularly impressed. It was chaotic, it was so noisy and the staff were rushing here and there.

Then again I remember, it was on the WEEKEND.

This time around, I visit this cafe on weekdays, before lunch hour, and it was a treat.

Still noisy, but more on the background noise. The music was a bit on the loud-side, but thrn again it depends on what's playing.

The avocado toast I ordered tasted heavenly. But the best is their Cold Long Black. (I didn't manage to take a photo. It was so good that by the time I am half-way writing this, only ice remained).

Unlike other coffee chains, their coffee retains some of the original flavour (instead of that mere dark-roasty flavour). Love it!

Might even order one to-go!

The cafe is clean, not on the busy road, plenty of parking.

There is outdoor area, which is very charming, with greenery.

The staff are efficient, friendly though not overly on it.
