BEWARE this place isn’t safe!

First off I would like to say that I am a foreigner living in Jakarta and was assaulted/tricked by security in this club last night

I came to the club with 2 female friends and while we were dancing they were approached by 2 guys, I kindly asked them to leave as my friends weren’t interested. So far this is a normal occurrence and there wasn’t any issues. About 5 min later a security guard came up to us and asked if we wanted to move to a table where we wouldn’t be bothered by the 2 men again. We kindly accepted and proceeded to move to the table. Upon arrival to the time, we came to find that those 2 men were there waiting for us. We immediately tried to walk away as the Security lied and tricked us! As we tried to walk away the men tried to convince one of the girls to stay and began to get violent with me. At this point there was NO security watching. Things escalated and they became more violent as we tried to leave the area, until one young boy (who wasn’t even 21) struck me in the face. Shortly after this the security arrived and I was “escorted” out of the club by the security guards.

As I was wrongly be forced to leave and tricked by the security I asked to speak to a manger. After waiting for nearly 30 min in the lobby I finally was able to explain the incidence to the manager and asked for his help. The manager was just about as useless as possible! They just told me to leave and forget about it, I refused to leave and demanded they bring the boy outside to discuss the situation. After waiting nearly another 30 min they finally brought him outside. The kid immediately tried to fight me again and the security did very little to diffuse the situation. In fact the kids friends were trying far harder to keep things cool then the security of the club!

This is absolutely unacceptable to be treated/discriminated in such a way. I came to have fun and spend money, I opened a bottle and was not disturbing anyone.

I would and will recommend to everyone I know to NOT visit this establishment. I have also started to file a formal complaint to the local...

Very disappointing. Expensive menu, poorly trained staff, and poorly managed inventory. The place is dark, the DJ and the band are loud.

We were hoping to get a couple of decent cocktails and some food after a long day at work on Wednesday night. To start, more than 70% of the menu was unavailable. All but one specialty cocktail was unavailable. The waitress didn't know what was in stock, so she kept going back and forth to ask, then returned after we placed the order to tell what we ordered was out. The food itself was just average.

Cocktails didn't fare much better. Since servers didn't know what the bar used for their house pours, we moved to the bar. The first bartender seemed knowledgeable, so we had a couple of decent classic cocktails. After the shift change, we ordered a "Barten-dare" - you roll 3 dice, and the bartender made a drink based on the roll. At that point, things went south again. The cocktails were either too sour or bitter or made with a flat tonic that's been sitting open for a while. Even after feedback, the bartender couldn't get the balance right, so we gave up.

After 9 pm, the music volume was raised, and it became impossible to converse or communicate with the staff. When the band came on, the music got even louder.

Overall, it was a lousy experience. The place tries to present itself as an upscale restaurant and bar, has the prices of one, but falls flat on its face in...

The space is gorgeous with a dj booth and small. dance floor in the center with a huge bar ang lounge seating wrapped around a large vaulted space.

We came in on a Sat night in Jan at 930pm for late dinner, they tried to charge us a cover charge of Rp 200,000 per person, the door guy was not being flexible but then a woman who workef there intervened and allowed us to come in for dinner with no cover.

Food was quite good but portions were small and prices were high. We. spent about Rp 700,000 for 4 plates and a large bottle of water. We were still hungry when we left.

The place was very quiet with only a. few tables full but we noticed more people coming in after 10pm as we were leaving.

So my takeaway is:

Would not come back for dinner. Maybe would come for drinks/DJ but they don't seem to get busy until quite late, probably...
