Yakitori Chidori — Restaurant in Jakarta

The hostess/waitress at Yakitori Chidori Crown Plaza Jakarta was very rude!

This is not the first time we were treated so badly. And today i was unable to hide my disappointment over their treatment. We walked in to the restaurant without reservation and we were told that the restaurant is already full. They didn’t even attempt to make any effort to offer a solution for us. We saw so many tables are still empty but they won’t allow us to sit in.

Shouldn’t they be trained to provide a good service to their customers? Or to assist customers and offer solutions? What kind of service business that doesn’t pay attention to their customers’ needs?

They will lose their customers if they keep hiring rude waitresses in their restaurants and will continue to receive negative feedbacks towards their service. Management of the restaurant should pay attention to this matter and improve the...

We tried their Ramen Set and Power Lunch Set- and were pleasantly surprised. Ramen Set: You can pick 1 ramen and 1 rice. We chose Maguro Okura Don (tuna & okra rice bowl 🌟) and Mentai Soba. The tuna was fresh and went well with the okra and egg yolk. The cold soba, on the other hand, was deliciously paired with cured cod roe. Both dishes were very yummy! Power Lunch: We chose the yakitori (🌟), salmon shio yaki, and gyu nabe. The yakitori was super juicy & smoky from the charcoal, the salmon was flaky & tender, and the gyu nabe had a comforting broth. Nabe was on the sweeter side. The yakitori was our fav- would order again! Both sets came with a delicious bowl of miso soup. It has small pieces of eggplants inside- went very well with the saltiness of the soup. Good deal for lunch, it was 115.5k for each set. EDIT: Davin the "PIC" for this branch is ridiculously horrible at his job and honestly has no real brain cells capable of working. No idea how he got into hospitality - should probably try to save up some pennies for an actual education. Simply asked "is there anything I can do" and then refused to respond for over a month.
