24-hours premium dimsum resto with strong night life ambience. Located on strategic position at Pasar Festival area and easy to noticed right before entering underground parking area. This resto is decorated as semi bar style, and they also serves alcoholic beverages (beers). They also have a large flat TV. Lighting is dim, and usually they played older R&B or EDM, but music volume is still acceptable for intimate talking. Always busy even at midnight, people especially came here to drink beer and eat light meals.
When we came here the waiter apologized at front because their order & billing system was error and could affect their service time. But their service was still fast enough, we had no complaint at all. They provided smoking (outdoor area) and non smoking area (indoor area). We sat in non smoking area, it was comfortable, but unfortunately I saw some guest still smoking in this area. To management, please fix this issue.
We ordered 2 drinks and 2 dimsums, it was small but very delicious for our liking. We spent Rp. 101.000 for this order. Definitely pricier if you compared to ordinary dimsum stall, but still worth it considering the ambience and location.
This resto is highly recommended for you who wants to have midnight meal or hang out with friends with casual semi bar ambience. I can't recommed this resto for family dining (because of alcohol beverages and smokers), and for those 'conservative' people who easily irritated watching people drink alcohol. This resto is staple of Pasar Festival food area, one of those few resto with similar concept in Jakarta, and keep standing for more than 15 years. Great...
Read moreThis place was supposed to be my 'go-to' place. The food overall was nice, I like the ambience and the played songs.
However they definitely deserved a 1 star for their hospitality. They're somewhat understaffed and unfriendly at all. I came to the place around 8 PM and the place was crowded but long story short I got a table for 6 which I needed. Need to raised hand more than 3 times to finally get the waiter to get our order. Food got out fast enough yet we need to ask the waiter 2 times to brought out our drink.
Close to their closing time (since they aren't 24 hours anymore) the waitress just came straight to our table to gave us the bill and a cue to pay as they're about to close the restaurant. However they didn't gave us any notice 15/30 mins before like other restaurants usually do that they're about to close and ask if we wanna do a last order.
After paid our bill I recheck it and saw that they've inputted the wrong food as one of their waiter inform us they're ran out of this menu but he input it anyway to our bill. We told them we want a refund but at first they insist that I need to take away the food that they wrongly inputted to our bill so it'll be balanced. I strongly refuse it and still want a refund. After waited for a few minutes one of the waiter gave us a refund of cash without even say sorry and thank you. Nuff said it was a bad memory that makes me won't go there anymore though the food and ambience was one of...
Read moreHonestly, I really like this place. It’s comfy, chill, and perfect for almost anything like hanging out, working, or just grabbing food with mates. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor part is not even that hot, so it’s actually nice to sit there too.
The vibe inside DimSum Inc at Plaza Setiabudi is super relaxed. Even though there’s a bar, all the food is halal and Muslim friendly, which is great. The place is located inside a mall, so if you’re looking for a musholla to pray, no worries, it’s available too. Makes it super convenient if you’re planning to stay for a while or work from there.
If you’re looking to work from a café, this place is a good pick. There are plug sockets everywhere, so no need to worry about charging your laptop or phone. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They can also recommend some great dishes if you are not sure what to order.
Prices start from around 30K and the food is quite decent. I really like their hakau. The prawn tastes fresh, not fishy at all, which is always a win for me. Overall, it is just a lovely place with chill vibes, good food, and nice people. Definitely...
