New ramen shop in town which is located in central park mall in tanjung duren area. Every time I pass this shop ,most of the time this shop has queue in front of the store ,so I expect good ramen from it ,and finally two days ago I ate at this ramen shop .
First time I entered this ramen shop ,my I can feel that the place is quite small and packed ,it's also quite loud ,so it's a big no no if u want to have a relaxing dinner here ,but the design and decorations are pretty unique . They put Japanese stle drawing on the other side ,Japanese style lantern ,and wall full of spoons which I've never seen before in the other ramen shop .
After i am seated ,I ordered the original hakata style ramen ,and my gf ordered akamaru ( I think ? ) hakata style Ramen with pork cube . The differences it the akamaru ramen is modified/modern version of hakata style ramen which usually only give u thick broth ,they put akamiso ( red miso paste ) on it. In this review I will give both of this ramen some comments.
The original hakata style ramen is quite good ,the broth is not very thick and not too rich ,but still enjoyable ,the noodle was well cooked ,and have nice consistency ,the condiment is also nice ,the only downside is the chasu pork ,it is very very dry ..
After I give a taste to my ramen ,I tried 5he akamaru ramen . The broth is more flavorful compared to the original one ,and the cubed pork taste different with the chasu ,it is sweet ,I think it is braised ,but it have the same weakness..it is very dry ....
Also I my opinion ,both ramen is still qualified and quite good ,but for ramen shop ,this restaurant offer you higher price and wide variety of ramen ( their soup ),well but with this price ,u should at least give boiled egg in every ramen in your menu ,don't be to...

However, this place was very hard to locate. It was on the opposite end of the mall from the other ramen restaurant. It was hard to get directions too as a lot of people didn't know about this shop. I visited because it's an international chain and I trust the quality. I think more advertisement should be done to raise awareness of the location. I nearly gave up on finding this place, thinking that it shut down already.
The broth was good but I was disappointed that all the ingredients were cold. This included the pork slices as well. I think that the chef should have minimally blanched through hot water. Not sure if this is normal standards for Japanese ramen but it sure is my first time eating cold food on my hot noodle soup.
Spicy noodles was really spicy even though I asked for little spice. Had to scoop away all the...
Read moreGoes to Ramen Ippudo at Central Park Mall for dinner. In this visit, I ordered Popcorn Shrimp Roll (deep fried popcorn style shrimp with avocado, shredded egg, mayo and topped with teriyaki sauce), Salmon Roll (which is my favorite menu from Ippudo Indonesia), Bun Platters (Pork, Spicy Pork and Fried Chicken), Shiromaru Ramen (classic Hakata style ramen), Akamaru Ramen (modern Hakata style ramen) and Karaka Men (modern style ramen). Overall, I really loves their buns and sushi menu, all of them delicious and nice to enjoy. Totally recommended the buns and sushi menu for you guys to try. However, their ramen kinda on the bland side for me, although it's still pretty nice and enjoyable. For this visit to Ramen Ippudo Central Park, i'm gonna rate them 3.5 out of 5. For more info about foods, kindly visit...
