Jittlada Thai Cuisine, Grand Indonesia — Restaurant in Jakarta

This was my several time to Jitlada Restaurant, yet this was my first in Grand Indonesia Branch. All of the foods were tasty.

For Drinks, we ordered Thai Ice Tea and Tour De Thai. For Tour De Thai, i believed it was strawberry tea and it tasted really refreshing.

For the soup we ordered Tom Yam Potek include prawns, squids, green clams and straw mushroom, which suitable for 2 persons and the taste was very well balanced with a bit spicy, sour, and umami.

For the veggies we ordered Eggplant With Garlic, they fried their eggplant first then pour some sautéed mushroom and tofu sauce and it taste super good, i really recommend this.

For the protein, we ordered Grilled Chicken, Chicken Satay and Tamarind Prawns. All of them were delicious but for me the most special one was the Grilled Chicken.

All of the food and drink were tasted amazing, but i really disappointed with the service. They should be professional even though the restaurant was full house.

Overall, it was a pleasant visit, will come back...

The Jittlada restaurant that serves a variety of Thai specialties with authentic recipes and signature dishes, the last time I visited it was still advised to follow standard health protocols by put on a mask and keeping a distance. The Jittlada Thai Cussine is One of the legendary and oldest Thai restaurant in Jakarta, their place is adorned with regal, rich in tradition Thailand culture. The food is very good taste and each of their menu is delicately presented, the portion is a bit small though and you may felt a sense of hunger lingering, if you only order 1 menu the service is great and attentive. Good Thai food in good prices and service too! Stay Safe! Stay healthy! 😉 Don't forget to always keep your distance!

Meals came out late and individually with zero coordination, had to remind them numerous times. Ordered beef salad meal, a curry , rice and mango sticky rice dessert, for two people. First the curry came about 15 mins later on its own, 10 mins later after reminding them came a bowl of rice by which time the curry was cold, then the dessert, and finally the second meal after another 10 mins and reminding. Absolute disorganisation. Beef salad was too spicy to eat and beef overcooked, chicken in the house speciality curry was chewy, overcooked and a very small portion. The mango sticky rice, even though it came before all the main meals, was actually quite tasty, hence the one star. Price value also not good compared to other restsurants...
