I want to share my recent experience at Starbucks Central Park, located in front of Pizza e Birra at Central Park Mall. As a regular Starbucks customer, I am familiar with the consistent hospitality offered by the brand. However, I was disappointed with the service at this particular store. Despite the baristas wearing black aprons, their hospitality fell far below standard, even lower than a roadside coffee stall.
During my visit, I ordered two beverages when the store was relatively quiet, with only me in line. After placing my order, I waited at the pickup bar. Unfortunately, the barista who handed me one of the drinks had a very unfriendly expression on their face. They quickly gave me the first cup and left without confirming if I had any pending orders. It felt like they carelessly walked away from the pickup bar.
I stood there alone for a long time, realizing that none of the baristas were actively making coffee. I assumed that they had forgotten to make my second drink. With this assumption in mind, I called one of the baristas over, and it turned out my coffee had indeed been forgotten. I had been standing at the pickup bar for about 10 minutes, with no initiative from the staff to confirm or rectify the situation. It was disappointing, and their unfriendly demeanor added to the frustration.
In the past years, from 2018 to 2023, I have lodged several complaints via email to Starbucks customer service. They have always been responsive and demonstrated customer-centric satisfaction. However, this time, my complaint via email was met with obstacles. The customer service representative requested proof of payment to verify my purchase at the store, despite having previously received and resolved complaints from the same email address. It was disheartening to encounter such difficulties, and I hope the regional manager takes notice of this issue.
Overall, my experience at Starbucks Central Park in front of Pizza e Birra was disappointing. The lack of attentive and friendly service, coupled with the difficulties faced in addressing complaints, left a negative impression. I hope Starbucks can improve their service and ensure a consistently positive...
Read moreHere's an open secret -- order a single source pour over. Not every Starbucks has an Experience Bar and whenever it's available it is the only way to insure a great cup of something special. Its only a little bit more. Ask if there are any specials available because they don't always put them on the menu. This location has not changed the choices in two years! Why they only have one Indonesian single source does baffle me, here we are on the island of Java, the name synomous for coffee for a reason and Starbucks has to import from Africa!! Do you see any thing weird with that picture?! Any way great...
Read moreLocated in Central Park mall, this place is easy to find. Place pretty spacious and they have plenty of seats indoor and outdoor. Just like other Starbuck, serve coffee mainly and some pastry. Open since around 7 in the morning, despite the Central Park mall itself hasn't yet open. Queue pretty long in the morning.
Taste pretty similar with other franchise and bit pricey for a cup of coffee, but understandable for the brand this big. Also, their cinnamon roll is...
