The restaurant itself is intimate and cozy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, what was disappointing, was that for a restaurant of this calibre, connected to Somerset Serviced Apartments, was the lack of dishes/options catering for people with food allergies/intolerances. It was a bit like reading a menu that was ten years old. Celiac/vegan/vegetarian/dairy /nut allergies etc. not mentioned at all. So unlike the menus in restaurants of a similar ilk elsewhere. Even restaurants in Bali are often way up with restaurants of international standards in this respect. For example I'm celiac, so I ordered the pan seared salmon with potatoes and veg and tarragon sauce. I emphasised that there must be no tepung terigu (wheat flour used). So the tarragon sauce was as thin as milk! Why didn't they use tepung jaggung (corn flour) as an alternative? I'm sure they must have had some in the kitchen! So disappointed! The interior is okay, they have spacious seating area indoor and outdoor. But the food was bad. I ordered spaghetti carbonara which supposed to be creamy. But as you can see in the picture, it is so dry, there is no appearance of sauce whatsoever, and it tastes bland! The smoke pork ham is hard to bite and cold on the inside! The pizza was okay, nothing special. And the run out of all beef dishes that night, even the salad! WTF! We already reserved the place before hand, because there will be about 15 people of us. But when we arrive at the restaurant, the haven't even set up the table yet. So we have to wait while they are arranging the table and chair. The worst baby back ribs (house chef recommendation) I ever had in my life and to figure the ribs were fried in oil, not grilled was a shock. When asked the waiter, to be told that the chef is on leave so the cook prepared the menu, even worst was that me & 3 of my friends all ordered the same menu, we returned 3 plates with full ribs still on it. In the end we were given 2 replacement meals, but we still had to pay full price for the ribs, this was nonsense. This place is totally not...
