Five monkeys is a nice and chill burger joint. I had nothing special just the regular old burger and Even that was pretty good all things considered, definitely one of the better places for burgers near here. However I would like to review some of the other reviews of this place, starting off with the comment that the burgers bun's are too soft, yeah I can definitely see where they're coming from, it's hard to judge where the meat is because of how soft the bun's are, they all sort of "mush" together but that doesn't mean that the burger itself is bad, it's the exact opposite actually, the burger has a good mix of all the ingredients all held together by their "special sauce" all in all I would definitely recommend the burger Secondly the reviews saying that the staff were "mean" or "condescending" to the customer's and this is where I'm confused because I had a positive experience with the staff where they really didn't do anything wrong, to be completely honest I don't know what these people are talking about where the staff are mean. Went to the restaurant in Citos, South Jakarta, today. The one in Bali was AWESOME. However, the new restaurant in Citos is absolutely awful. 13.5k for a tiny bottle of coca-cola that costs 2.5k in the Indomaret. No stock of onion rings for the children as finished, (bare in mind this is an empty restaurant at lunch time on a Sunday). They also have a supermarket downstairs if they were desperate enough to restock, but that would take initiative and common sense. They bring the food over, and the most expensive burger was stone COLD! They have the audacity to charge 500k for 5 meals with that kind of low quality and poor service. Shameful. I'm not sure if the owner owns the ones in Bali, but he/she should take a look at how they're run and how they cook and serve customers.
