I visited Dewata Monsieur Spoon early this year with a friend from New York. We sat outdoor area and everything were good. Service was good and it was quite fast after we ordered but we had only coffee and pastries. Also the time was around 11 am, on weekday. Tonight, Saturday night, Me and my three friends visited again for dinner while We were in Sarinah. This time, We ordered Oxtail Soup, Nasi pincuk kikil, goat fried rice and for myself, nasi campur rendang. Atmosphere changes cos it was almost full, next to our table, a group of friends had birthday party. A bit chaotic. Based on the situation, I know that we must patiently wait. The Food came out 20 minutes after we ordered. I was surprise that the food we ordered, hit and miss. My rendang a bit dry and tasteless, while the beef satay were good. Considered Ok for me. My friend said the Goat Fried Rice was good. Unfortunately, the dinner ended with bad mood, we asked the bill. Requested two times to the waiter. The bill never reached my table. Longer than the food. Then We asked again. This time the waiter answer " yes wait ya " with high unpleasant note. So, We decided to go outside and paid at the cashier by ourself. I know they might be busy but It was not profesional to ignore/forget for us requested again and again [ I think if we sneak out without paying, no staff will noticed ] Third time is a charm, it said but maybe I reconsidered to dine again at Dewata Monsieur...

I came to this café with my mom because we planned to have lunch and also do some work there. We were looking for a table with a power outlet so i could charge my laptop. After settling down, I kindly asked one of the waitresses, with a smile, “Hello, where can I order or get the menu?”
To my surprise, she responded with a visibly annoyed face and said, “DI TUNGGU,” in a very rude and unfriendly tone. There was no smile, no basic courtesy, and her attitude was honestly unpleasant. It completely changed the mood of our visit. And we decided to leave the restaurant!
A simple smile and polite response would’ve made a big difference. Customer service really matters, especially in a place that expects people to stay and enjoy their time. I hope the management takes note and provides proper training, because no matter how good the food or drinks are, poor service like this leaves a very...

Their croissants were simply delicious - flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. I particularly appreciate that they offer oat options for those looking for a healthier choice.
Plus, they open early even when the mall is closed, which is a big plus for early risers like myself. The menu boasts a diverse range of fusion foods, and I've had the pleasure of trying their bubur ayam betutu, which was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. However, I found their nasi goreng kecombrang to be just average.
Overall, Dewata by Monsieur Spoon is a great spot for breakfast or brunch, offering tasty food and a cozy ambiance. I'll definitely be back...
