First of all the lack of one of the stars is that the Grand Hyatt is advertised as a 5 star venue and its not! Perhaps 25 years ago but today 3.5 at the most. I removed one star as its not clean and neat and worn.
The food is average, definitely no wow factor! There is a lot of food, but average choices. The good there is vegemite and nutella! The sautéed mushrooms?! Had better in a can b4!
The fruit selection is definitely the pick here, mangosteen, sbakefruit, papaya, watermelon red or yellow, pineapple…
Coffee is average and for australian standards don’t even ask for a late or flat white its not even nespresso standard.
The location is within the compounds surrounded by a fish pond and greenery. Unfortunately no view other than this retirement village looking hotel compound.
Summing it all up, the place is in nice surroundings (could be many other places in the world as its within the compound of the hotel without any natural views). The food is not 5 star 3.5 stars being generous, a lack of upkeep give the place a tired look it defines looks 30+ years old. The service is what u would get anywhere in Bali. Balinese generally have a welcoming humble kindness to them. I would say the training of the staff is well below a 5 star hotel. I see lots of wiping hair, face etc cutlery and crockery is not polished and full if fingerprints. Of course that leads ones imagination to go wondering. Does everyone wash their hands correctly after using the bathroom without toilet tissues? My observation is that this is not the case in Australia at least 50% of the time for males ……
Anyway its a good place if the price is right however we booked this place via Luxury Escapes who advertised it as $1070 saving per night we paid about$320 per night australian. Have stayed in much better places in Seminyak for about $200 modern with kitchen …. Much more up to date. Yeah there was no buffet bfast but a very nice al la carte service by the pool.
Take a not on the internal photos re cleanliness, look at the glass shelves on the...
Read moreNama saya Rayan. Truly wonderful experience at “Watercourt”. I have been staying at Grand Hyatt Bali several days and this restaurant is amazing. I have had buffet breakfast as well as a couple of dinners here and the experience has been first class, from the extremely kind servers (very big thanks especially to my dear friend Mr Korri and Mr Dendi) for their recommendations and hospitality. The food is also spectacular set in a wonderful scenery with fish ponds surrounding creating a very tranquil peaceful experience. I would recommend anyone to spend some time here as the menu is extensive and the service is great. Terima kasih banyak to my friends at “Watercourt”....
Read moreStayed at the Grand Hyatt from the 4/10/23 to 12/10/23 on a luxury escapes package. The food and service was so good at watercourt that I dined there 4 times! The staff are amazing friendly and professional I miss them all! I would especially like to compliment Nike who provided exceptional customer service every time. On occasion we would dine with other family members comprising a group of 12 with 4 different rooms. Nike managed to keep our bills perfectly accurate and separate on each occasion super impressive!! Management should commend Nike she is a true asset. I recommend the...
