A Wonderful Blend of Japandi Style and Indonesian Craftsmanship at DUA Kafe
I recently had the pleasure of visiting DUA Kafe and I must say, it's a hidden gem worth discovering! The interior design is a perfect fusion of Japandi style and Indonesian craftsmanship, creating a unique and captivating atmosphere.
The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a simple and clean aesthetic that exuded a sense of tranquility. The Japandi influence was evident in the minimalist furniture, natural materials, and clean lines, which created a serene ambiance.
What truly stood out to me was the thoughtful incorporation of Indonesian arts and crafts throughout the space. Though minimal, these touches added a distinct local flavor and showcased the beauty of Indonesian craftsmanship. It was a delightful surprise to see traditional elements seamlessly integrated into the modern design.
The overall design and surrounding of DUA Kafe were incredibly pleasing to the eye. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the carefully selected decor pieces to the soothing color palette. It was evident that the owners had put a lot of thought into creating a space that is aesthetically pleasing and inviting.
Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to relax or a visually inspiring environment, DUA Kafe delivers on both fronts. The combination of Japandi style and Indonesian craftsmanship creates a truly unique and refreshing experience.
The pricing is Nusa Dua pricing which is expensive due to the rent from ITDC.
I highly recommend visiting DUA Kafe if you appreciate tasteful design, a calming ambiance, and a touch of local artistry. It's a place where simplicity meets sophistication, and it left me with a...
Read moreAfter walk around Bali Collection, I found this coffee shop on google maps. It was walking distance and it seems pretty good coffee shop.
I went there once so this review maybe bias on my first visit experience.
I went there in the afternoon afterlunch. The place was pretty packed but I got my table easily. It is spacious, a lot of natural lighting with high ceiling. The interior concept is very natural with dominant in cement and wood accents. The only thing that tick me off is cleanliness. I wish the place could be more comfortable if it is cleaned properly. Some of the area a bit dusty and tables are pretty messy with few thrashes around the area. The toilet smells funny too.
I ordered 1 iced black, 1 picollo and banana bread. Coffees were not great but okay and drinkable. Chocolatey but bitter. Banana bread was overly sweet for me. Overall, the food and drinks are still on the somewhat good side.
On the service side, mostly good. Nice people with good attitude. Thums ub...
Read moreUnbelievably bad experience – avoid for breakfast
We came here for what we hoped would be a decent breakfast, but it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in Bali.
First of all, there is no toilet. Yes, you read that right. A restaurant with seating and a full menu but not even the basic facilities. Unbelievable.
I ordered the Eggs Royale and my friend had the Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce on both was clearly off – sour, unpleasant, and borderline rancid. I took one bite, paused, and immediately noticed the chef peeking at me nervously from behind the counter. That was all I needed to know.
To top it all off, they forgot to bring my English Breakfast tea altogether. No apology, no follow-up, nothing.
Avoid this place unless you enjoy food poisoning roulette and being ignored. Bali has so many great cafés – this is absolutely not...
