Was a disappointment. Have read some really nice reviews so was excited to dine here. We left feeling disapointed in most things. The staff speak very little English which caused some real difficulty. They weren't able to understand simple requests and got a few things wrong in our order. This is a Japanese restaurant but they had no Japanese beer last night! Usually 4 different Japanese beers but they were all sold out. Drinks took 20-25 minutes to come out which isn't ideal, especially when you've been out in the heat and decide to stop in for dinner and a drink to cool down. I was impressed with the angel hair roll, this was cooked perfectly and was really great. Everything else was only ok or bad. Alot of the food tasted like it had been frozen. Overall everything was very slow, struggled to engage or have conversation with the staff due to the language barrier and it all seemed a bit expensive for what we were getting, especially compared to other places. If you're wanting sushi or Japanese for dinner and want to be impressed I suggest 'Ji Restaurant' over in Canggu Beach, this was amazing and our favourite place to eat in Bali! Given that their is other places in the area that left me feeling very impressed and better value I can't see myself returning...
