It’s very bad experience to have seafood in this restaurant , lies staff or they not sell what we saw, you chose a live one but when they cooked, they changed to dead one ( grab) I and my friend come and chose 1 fish (1,4kgs) and 4 grab ( 1,5 kgs) We have a lot of experience to chose grab, we chose female grab, and live one, and I talk ed to the staff that we wanted steam it and then grill it, the man who scaled the grab talked to me that they steamed it with ginger and lemongrass will be better, and I accepted it Take about 20 minutes and they bring the grill fish first and about 3-5 minutes more they bring the steamed grab As usual, steamed grab only 5-7 minutes And grill fish take longer times than When we eat the grab we feel that some smell of dead grab, and we checked more, we saw that all the grab were the male grab not the female grab we had chosen , we talked to the man (who scale the grab for me, I thought he were manager of restaurant) and he changed one grab for us, it’s about 5 minutes he bring 1 new grab for me But we check 3 of grab , it’s almost have the smell of dead grab- and we stopped to eat the grab We thought that, when we choose the good grab, they scale and bring to kitchen, the kitchen will change the dead grab to steam with lemongrass and ginger to make the smell cover the dead grab, and it take longtime to steam. The dead grab with very low price can sell with live grab price- it’s make money We pay all for it, and promise that never come to that restaurant, it’s not good for your health , not...

I was walking passed Blue lobster post a G20 conferences, and saw a fresh decent sized Mahi Mahi displayed. As it turns out, its IDR 150K++ which is unheard off this side of Bali. I use pay 100K or 250k at Nook / Sarong for 150 grams. And boy did this 1.1Kg fish turned out well. Slightly charred, whole fish on the grill/ felt like i was living on a beach ala Youngblood / Aquatic Apes style..
The fresh and 'smallish' size Mahi went down a treat, especially with the spicy lemongrass chutney.
Having had a look at their alacarte menu, i knew straight away they will have disappointed diners.. their menu was priced too low, hence the portions will be tiny. Bad reviews ensues..
Granted, the 'facilities'.of the restaurants is not good, but i've seen worst in Hanoi / Hoi An. I'm hopeful they can improve...
In conclusion, come here if you know your seafood and whole fishes, especially Mahi Mahi. Forget fancy stuffs, as this aint Michelin star joint.
Jimbaran without the beach frontage. Enjoy, i...
Read moreRegretably ate here for dinner before doing my customary google check and reading reviews. Any rating above 3 stars is a flattery to this place. Whilst it looks inviting from the outside and service is friendly, nothing further is complimentary. The cocktails are served in very small glasses and taste nothing like their name sake. Eg. A Grasshopper cocktail that is totally bright blue...Mmmm. the cocktails tasted clearly watered down and were not pleasant to drink. Then we come to the food, a Lobster Bisque with garlic bread that was passable however my Fillet Mignon with chips and peppercorn sauce was just plain nasty. The Mignon was not a Mignon that I have seen anywhere else, it was just a med rare piece of normal steak that was tough on the edges and the nearly non-existence of the peppercorn sauce, might as well just had no sauce. The chips were clearly the last chips and broken bits from a frozen pack of chips. There were so few chips, I could nearly count them on my fingers. The overall meal and experience was unpleasant and this place is a tourist trap that should be avoided at all costs. They also add a 5% service on top of the 10% tax to add...
