Plenty more places to eat. Do yourself a favor and keep moving by. Its a bit of everything. Lunch, dinner, drinks or a stop for a coffee and cake all rolled into one but where you can walk through into a pub (Old Oak Pub). Same owner I guess. Not surprised at the 3* rating. Ordered a Ham and Cheese toastie and a Salmon and Avocado Salad. Sandwich was fine. Non descript. The salad was poor. Wasn't fresh salmon. Had no seasoning and when we asked for salad dressing in the hope of adding some flavor, we got the dregs of pub vinegar. (see photo). Milkshake, flavorless and stuffed with cream. The staff were very inexperienced and English was not their first language so we struggled to communicate the issue with the salad. I'd expect people to get basic training and that vinegar is not salad dressing.

People do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. Poor food. I ordered a tuna sandwich. There were no description except that it comes with fries. Was expecting it to at least have slices of cucumber, tomato and seasoning at the very least but got a plain old tuna from a can sandwich. (I added tomato ketchup To it) I couldnt even take a second bite. It was so bland and the bread was absolutely soaked with brine water or whatever that is. Waited for quite sometime for a basic sandwich and a vege burger salad was so basic, dry and tasteless. Yep our first and last visit.

The food is wonderful and the place has a great vibe. However, the service could be improved. During my visit, there were three staff members inside the café chatting, while the outdoor area was full and the staff member assigned outside seemed overwhelmed. I understand that there may be designated roles for indoor and outdoor service, but when the outside is busy, it would be helpful if the indoor staff could step in and assist. More attention and proactiveness from the team would really enhance the overall experience.

I’m writing to express my absolute outrage and disgust after what was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I’ve ever had — and I will never return to your establishment again.

I ordered a pizza and, for some completely ridiculous reason, was given chips. I assumed, generously, that they were included with the meal. Wrong. It turns out your staff mixed up my order with the table next to mine — and instead of taking responsibility for your mistake, I was still forced to pay for the wrong item. Why? Because I had eaten them before being told they weren’t part of my order. That is not just absurd, it’s borderline insulting.

Meanwhile, the table whose order mine was confused with? They were given a brand new portion of chips for free — simply because they “had to wait.” So let’s recap: I get the wrong order, I pay for it, and they get the right order plus a free one. If that doesn’t scream favoritism, negligence, or incompetence, I don’t know what does.

To make matters worse, your staff were shockingly rude, dismissive, and offered not a single word of apology. The way I was spoken to was completely unacceptable. And it doesn’t stop there — on a previous visit, I was nearly short-changed €20, which was brushed off with a casual “oops 🙃.” That alone should have been enough to never come back, but I gave you another chance. Clearly a mistake.

This experience was infuriating from start to finish. I left hungry, angry, and completely disrespected. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic courtesy from your staff is outrageous and unacceptable. I will be telling everyone I know to avoid your restaurant at all costs — you’ve lost a customer...

BAD CAFE!

Firstly, came in and got seated and got offered to order the second we sat down and just got our menus. Afterwards ,my boyfriend had to walk into the cafe to asked to get served as the staff had left us sitting waiting ages for someone to come back around.

Me and my boyfriend had both ordered at the same time, I received my order as for my boyfriend, he ordered a sandwich and waffles.

The sandwich took about 20 minutes to be made. Afterwards, we got asked to pay the bill before we could even look at our food. A while after he had finished his food, we have noticed that none of the staff has brought us over his waffles. It had been about 30-40 minutes and he still had not received them.

I walked inside to ask one of the staff if our food is even being made as it’s been so long since we’ve ordered. One of the staff members had told me she had only put them in 2 minutes ago which I found insane.

After a few minutes the lady I have had spoken to about the food came over with the food and just popped the plate in front of me (even though I told her it wasn’t for me) and had walked off with no apologies about the delay.

Honestly I wouldn’t ever bother coming in there ever again. A waste of our time and money. Absolutely 0 show of respect or good communication skills.

Definitely do not...

Turned up at 3pm, when being seated we were told it would 15 minutes before we could order, we said that was okay, 20 minutes later and we still had not received any menus even though multiple waiters had went by us and sorted out people who came in after us, eventually stopped a waiter and got menus, then within 30 seconds a waiter is there wanting to take our order we said we would need a few minutes, then another 30 seconds later the waiter appeared again wanting to take our order, this happened a few times, we ordered once ready and 15 minutes passed and our drinks hadn't even came, we then saw our drinks come out and be given to another table, then a waiter turned up and asked for payment for our order which we did,a further 15 minutes later another waiter came up asking to take our order and we stated we had already ordered to which he then said our order had been lost in the kitchen, having been there for 45 minutes we asked for a refund, to which he then went and told us our food would only be another 5 minutes, but by this stage we just wanted to leave so asked again for a refund, he said he would sort it right away, he then went inside and we seen him go and serve another few tables before he came out with a refund, would not recommend or ever return, lost an...
