McLynn's Bar — Restaurant in County Sligo

McLynn's is my all time favourite pub in Sligo Town! Ross and Darragh are such lovely barmen (and absolute gents). They always have a smile on their faces!

When I moved to Sligo, I started visiting McLynn's. Now after nearly 3 years, I have brought my US based family members over to enjoy the pub I fell in love with!

In the warm weather, I love to sit out in the beer garden area. In the cooler weather, the large fireplace in the main bar is the spot to be.

Best pint of Guinness in town (in my humble opinion), great live music and always good craic! I feel welcome and cosy here, like enjoying a few drinks with friends and family in my own living room.

I recently celebrated a milestone birthday. Friends of mine had brought a cake to the pub. The boys didn't mind lending us some plates, napkins and a cutting knife to dish it up!

10/10 always....

Not lying on the size of the pub (tiny) but it looks lovely. We arrived a bit before the musicians, so I can't say anything for the quality at that moment, but service wise, I hope we just met the bartender (owner?) at a bad time, because it was not very welcoming. No worries though we left soon after and joined other places. Arrive in advance for a music night seats...
