Immediately every star possible. My experience at Otto was wonderful. The first impression I had, as I walked in was a chic restaurant prepared to give an elevated experience you can see all of the design features where selected with care, a simple, elegant palette for the eyes, not too demanding to distract you from All the elements that are contributing to the experience, including soft jazz, playing in the background, happy servers buzzing between tables and an artisan managing and monitoring the pizza pies in a gorgeous custom built pizza oven. I came alone with my book and I was eager to sit down and enjoy my afternoon, Jack led me to perfect place already set with beautiful glassware and flatware, and he made sure I was comfortable. Jack even offered to take my trenchcoat in the back to keep it while I enjoyed my experience. He was immediately back and asked me if he could start me off with sparkling or flat water and I said I wanted to start with a cocktail. I quickly perused the menu And landed on.a Mindoro Pisco Sour. Jack made sure I understood what was in the drink and highly recommended it within minutes. I was very settled in my drink, a ride, foaming and gorgeous. The aesthetics matched the flavor. It was smooth, refreshing and beautiful. As I glanced over the menu, I landed on a pizza With pepperoni Fresh Barada, basil, Pecorino cheese And hot spicy honey drizzled over the whole thing. I have never tasted such a gorgeous pizza before all these flavors together were a symphony. I was in heaven, and soon I had finished my drink and followed it with an another fabulous drink, the Paloma. Relaxing into my book and my gorgeous food and my delicious drinks. I glanced up to notice the beautiful ceiling with soffits, accented, and lit. I took in the beautiful color Scheme of different shades from ivory to white to warm neutrals polished with formal black. For a moment, I was lost and almost felt I was back in Manhattan in the upper East end. I got a front row seat facing this gorgeous pizza oven. I sat at the bar facing it, and I was able to watch the pizza artisan, Pablo, tending with care each pizza. He expertly monitored them and carefully placed them on the counter as they were ready. The flavors of my own pizza were mouth watering the spicy and savory flavors married perfectly with the Smokey cheese and sweet honey. But as I moved to the crust I was pleasantly surprised to taste a perfectly salted crispy chewy bread. It was perfectly beautiful with the charred bubbles and the flavor of the crust alone stood on its own. For the first couple slices, I was able to pace myself and eat with a knife and fork but after the second slice, I couldn’t hold myself back and picked it up in true Italian and New Yorker style and folded it in my hand and enjoyed it bite by bite. This was my first visit, but it will not be my last, I highly recommend this restaurant. It was filled with girlfriends Celebrating and laughing, it had families with babies and mothers and fathers and grandfathers and grandmothers all smiling and enjoying their meal. And it had larger parties all coming together for a purpose, ready to be spoiled with a fabulous meal. There were pairs of people clearly on dates, and there was myself happy as a clown reading my book and taking in this beautiful dining experience. So no matter how big or small your party will be planned on enjoying your experience, but I also recommend that you make reservations because this is a very busy place....

I recently had the pleasure of eating at this newest pizzeria in Sligo, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! Accompanied by my children, we were treated to a culinary experience that left us craving for more.

The star of the show was undoubtedly the pizza. Not only was it delicious, but it also boasted an impressive level of digestibility – a rare find in the pizza world. The use of high-quality ingredients was evident in every bite, making each slice a symphony of flavours that danced on our taste buds. From the fresh, tangy tomato sauce to the perfectly melted cheese, every element of the pizza was a testament to the chef's commitment to quality.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. Courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable, they made us feel welcomed and valued throughout our meal. Customer satisfaction is a top priority for this establishment.

The cosy ambience created the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and enjoyable meal with family. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely dining experience, this pizzeria caters to both, making it a versatile choice for any occasion.

Thank you – we'll certainly be back...

I had the pleasure - and the luck, apparently - to dine at OTTO on a recent Friday night while visiting Sligo for the weekend. Impressed by other reviews and hungry for pizza, I stopped in without a reservation and requested a table for one. The host at first seemed doubtful, but accommodated me at a two-top right by the host stand. (The next day I learned this must happened only as a stroke of great luck!) The glass of wine I ordered arrived promptly along with a bottle of still water, soon followed by green salad with a pleasantly tangy dressing. My oven-fired pepperoni pizza was generously sized such that I had to leave two slices behind (no fridge at my hotel). The sauce was bright and appropriately portioned. The cheese added a rich and tangy flavor, and the spicy-but-not-too-spicy pepperoni was the star of the meal. I highly recommend OTTO and wish the staff and owners great luck in sustaining their high...

Food tastes fantastic. Pizza bread was very tasty but a bit salty. we ordered one peperoni pizza and one Ricota cheese with Ham. I loved the one with parma Ham so much, although I don't eat ham, but this ham was so delicious. Absolutely recommend it. we went on Wednesday, we didn't book in advance and luckily they had a few available tables. The tables were quite big and there were plenty of places for each person. What I didn't like: so much noises in the restaurant, even though the restaurant wasn't full, but there was so much noise. when we wanted to book online in advance, they requested a credit card's details to secure booking, which we thought it's fraud! so we didn't book online, but in the restaurant, they confirmed it's normal process for booking,Sorry! I still didn't feel comfortable sharing my card's details!

New restaurant worth a visit. Suggest calling for a reservation; they were booked and we just happened to get lucky with two open bar seats. Good wine selection, craft cocktails (didn't try, just snagged a picture sitting at the bar), super friendly and attentive staff. Pont neuf potatoes were absolutely amazing, oysters in pickled shallots fresh and vibrant - the two would make a great light snack! And the lemon posset was tart and creamy. Hot honey nduja pizza and affogato were nice - really great gelato from Fabios Ice Cream. I would suggest noise dampeners on the doors to the back kitchen & restrooms. They slam easily (and often) and it's a bit jarring. But that's not a reason not to give them try. 😉
