You might have tasted the most delicious yummy biriyani in your life , have you ever experienced the worst ? If not , here is the restaurant i would recommend.
Instead of a fork and spoon they should have probably provided a "machete" as i had tough time finding rice and a few pieces of miniature chicken in middle of the jungle they served on my plate called chicken biriyani with salad. Am I cow or a goat ? You can find all sorts of vegetation known to mankind on that plate. Except biriyani.
Coming to taste, I've no clue how to explain. Was it salty or sweet ? Ah let's see its something like a solid version of ORS.
Coming to Service, we were a group of 20 and we had already booked our seats. Yeah we know all these people coming together will definitely build some tensions in the kitchen but after waiting for a decade my colleague went and asked the status of the food and this is what they replied (with attitude) , "it will come, why so hurry?". Roots would have grown if we had waiting for another 10 more minutes and his response, why so hurry ? I do not want to mention that we had to ask for water after the glasses in front of us started to collect dust nor that one of the waiters spilled water over two of my friends nor did the waiter literally push food towards us as if we were dogs and i definitely do not want to explain the mess i saw when the kitchen door was accidentally left open for few minutes. You might need Google maps to navigate from one end to the other through all that messy , unhygienic kitchen.
Summary, the people of poppadam if you are reading this, pls send your chef to a good restaurant and tell him to get some good biriyani from there , probably that might give him some ideas and please install some lights in the restaurant or you should have told us to bring some torches or emergency lamps if we had to have food from your restaurant.
Other than these , everything else is...

Unfortunately very dirty and smelly stairs welcome you when you arrive.
When you are upstairs you ask this question, is this a restaurant or a takeaway.
I and my wife waited for 5 mins even though we have reservation because there were many people there for collection. Luckly the guy said we can sit any table we want. We picked one.
After waiting for another 15 mins, my wife went to the till ask if someone will look after us. Yayyy finally a waitress came to get our orders however we did not have the menu. They were too busy with the deliveries and nobody gave us the menu. FYI we also had to light the candle on the table since they did not give so much attention. Without a candle we couldn’t call it a romantic dinner :)
Anyway, the food arrived. It was tasty I must say. Better than our exception after the first impression. We order 1 starter, 1 curry, 1 biryani and 1 naan bread. It was more than enough for 2.
Not sure if we go...
Read moreWelcome to Poppadum’s, a playground for your health and hygiene.
I saw most reviews before visiting this place but still for my love of Indian food, I tried it. Worst is a very decent word i’m using here. Pathetic Experience.
Starting with food:
They bought the Poppadum: Too oily served with stale old Mango Chutney and coconut, what a joke!
Chana Masala and Dal - Looked the same, to be brutally honest.
Naan Bread: Served absolutely cold. We told the manager to change the breads, instead he thought it would be convenient to Microwave it.
Veg Momos: If you don’t know a history about a particular food, please take it off the Menu. Served with Oil and lots of Oil.
Chicken: Undercooked and ofcourse Oil.
The best thing on the Menu is Diet Coke. They’ve got awards. FOR WHAT?
This was such a pathetic experience, a shame for calling themselves an Indian restaurant. Please...
