Had high expectations but found the food rather bland despite the noodles and dumplings being freshly made.
Firstly the burger had old chewy bread bread (it should have been like a puff pastry or layered like a Roti) and the meat although plentiful was very oily.
Then the dumplings were rather small and the two sauces offered alongside were both spicy and there was no other options like a dumpling dumpling sauce with vinegar and soy.
Lastly the main event - the Noddles. Texture was rather flat but overall good. However the accompanying vegetables were boiled and bland, offered nothing for the dish and a chore to get through. Meat was okay but nothing special and there was no sauce with them, you had to pay extra for the sauce i.e. pay extra for your food to have flavour!? Plenty of other places that do better noodles around Dublin like Xian, and although I'm not a big fan of them, the latter do a much better burger and noodles.

Read moreI’ve been to Biang Biang twice already, and both visits were an excellent experience.
The menu is quite small, but that’s actually a plus — it focuses on what they do best. I tried the handmade dumplings (from the “Handmade Dumplings” section) and their famous Biang Biang hand-pulled noodles — both were absolutely delicious and paired perfectly.
The dumplings with chili oil and the noodles with diced pork were full of flavor, and the Tomato & Egg noodles on my second visit were just as satisfying.
Prices are very fair and truly reflect the quality of the food — generous portions, fresh ingredients, and authentic taste.
The staff is kind, helpful, and always smiling, which really adds to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. There are only a few tables, but the turnover is smooth, so you don’t usually have to wait too long.
A real hidden gem in Smithfield — highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Chinese...
Read moreWe went around Lunchtime on Saturday to try Biang Biang for the first time. My girlfriend is from mainland China, so the prospect of another option for authentic Chinese Street food was appealing, even if the reviews weren't all that great (I work in the restaurant industry, so I know how many little things can go wrong when a new restaurant opens its doors, that's what a snag book is for). Best decision in ages! The diced pork was to die for, absolutely wonderful, and the Biang Biang noodles, not a variety I'm all that familiar with, were lovely. My girlfriend had the roujiamo burger, and it was excellent too. We also had a portion of chicken dumplings, which were beautiful and the chilli dressing was also wonderful. The tap water issue some reviewers referred to has been addressed, as had the bowl issue. My girlfriend even loved the music. Wonderful experience, we will...
