My partner and I recently visited Brasileirinho in Dublin, and we had a great but mixed experience. We ordered the picanha with rice, beans, and fries, which tasted great and had generous portion sizes.
However, there was an issue with the doneness of the meat. My partner requested his picanha medium rare, while I asked for mine medium well. Unfortunately, both steaks came out essentially the same—more on the medium well side. For my partner, who loves his meat juicy and bloody, the picanha was too dry. He did not reported because he was too hungry. On the other hand, it was perfectly cooked for my taste.
Despite this, the overall meal was satisfying. The rice and beans were well-seasoned, and the fries were nice. Additionally, the hearty portions made it a great choice for our hangover food.
In summary, while Brasileirinho offers delicious dishes and generous servings, it would be better if the kitchen could be more precise with meat doneness requests. We hope to see improvement in this area during our next visit. Other than that, it...
Read moreI had to edit my last 5 star review which I left only two months ago. I don’t know what happened but the quality declined quite a bit. We ordered two picanhas and only one was supposed to be with garlic. When I got mine I noticed they were both sprinkled with garlic granules which was nowhere near the right way of preparing it. I ordered medium rare and my sister ordered medium and this was overcooked and hard. She couldn’t eat it so sent it back and the new one was also hard. The flank we ordered was definitely not flank or it was not properly cut. It was rubbery. The vegetables were plain and the chimichurri had cumin which was not great. The one thing I really enjoyed was the truffle mayo but considering that it was quite pricey, we were expecting much more. The restaurant was empty. I hope they ready the reviews to take on the constructive criticism and improve the food because this is not Brazilian barbecue. I won’t...
Read moreI pay 2 visits within 6 months and the last time the problems were bigger. First impression was that the prices went up by 6 to 10 euro for the steaks. I ordered picahna, medium rare, 32£€. The steak was small, and grilled with all the shades of red. Halfway medium rare, then all the way to well done. On top was drenched in some very sweet demiglas sauce. The meat quality was rather supermarket type, missing the beefy deep flavour. The plates came 55 minutes after the order and somehow the other tables got theirs first. The chicken hearts were ok, the pork belly was really good. The flank steak was somewhat just ok. The service is super nice, the atmosphere was cool. it is not what you would expect for such price tags and hopefully they will reconsider the menu to focus on the quality. As the staff and the floor...
