EDIT: I still think this is a great place to watch a game, and I’m not changing the 5 star review, but I did have a recent disappointing experience here that I wanted to share: First, I ordered some wings and asked if they have Buffalo sauce. They do not. That’s fine, and if they had just said so then I would have been happy to pick something else, but for some reason they told me they DO have Buffalo sauce and then just gave me wings with Louisiana sauce instead. When I brought them back, they tried to tell me that Buffalo sauce and Louisiana sauce are the same thing. (In case any other Americans are reading this with horror and thinking that people in Ireland just don’t know the difference between Buffalo sauce and Louisiana sauce, I have gotten wings at dozens of other places in Ireland and they all have known that Buffalo and Louisiana sauce are very different things, so I think this is just a unique issue to Woolshed, or even just unique to that particular staff member.) Second, later when I was eating, a guy randomly asked me to get up out of the booth so he could stand on the bench where I was sitting to hang up something on the window. I’m still not sure if he was an employee or a customer, but the whole thing happened right in front of the manager, and I was a little surprised and disappointed that the manager would a) allow someone to stand directly on one of the booths in front of customers, and b) kick a customer out of their seat while they were in the middle of eating so they could stand on their seat and hang something. I’ll still probably go back to watch baseball and I am still keeping the review at 5 stars, but I did think it was important to give that feedback. - One of the only places in Dublin that will put on a baseball game for you.

A great place to grab a bit to eat before you go to the cinema next door or head out for the night. We had booked a table in advance which was lucky because they were broadcasting many sporting events on the day. It was quiet packed when we went in but got a table upstairs immediately. As usual I had spent a day or so going throught the food & drinks menu trying to narrow down what to have. We had a lovely waiter called Caio who took or drink order & left us to decide on our food. As per previous reviews I found it strange paying immediately each time we ordered something but looking around at how busy it was I completely understand & found it handy not having to track down a waiter later on. We ordered large chicken wings with Louisiana sauce, medium chicken wings with barbecue sauce, the burger of rhe month (Tex Mex), crispy bbq chook and cheesy garlic fries. Absolutely yum. We also ordered Hop House (on tap) for himself and a fab Margarita followed by a nice strawberry daquiri. The one thing I would highlight is that if you don't like sports or loud music this might not be the ideal spot over the weekend when there's a busy sporting calendar. We hope to got back & might see if there is a "quieter" time to eat & chat.

In a nutshell it's a 4 star place. It's a sports bar, went to watch Liverpool vs Arsenal. I was told it's an Arsenal club bar in Dublin but felt like it was full of Liverpool supporters rather 😅. But anyway. So the huge screens they have are in a weird angle and they didn't have seat in the top section where the view is better. So we had to sit below and in a weird angle. It was fine but still, experience could've been better. Talking about food, we ordered fries with cheese and it was just alright, nothing amazing. 2.5 or 3/5. We also ordered garlic bread later and it felt same too. Actually bit worse than fries- 2/5. But they were priced alright, not worth to try though. Talking about drinks, my friend had two pints of Guiness and it tasted, well like a Guiness 😅. It was good as per him. I had two cocktails- one Caipirinha first and I wanted to try it on someone's recommendation. It was super sour though but not that bad. I'd give it 3.5 or 3.7/5. I then had a Long Island Iced Tea and it felt little better than the last one- 4/5. So nothing special to share, just a simple place with simple stuff. Food could be lot better.

The main attraction that drew me here was that all American NFL football games are shown and that certainly was the case when I attended. My party of two barely found a place to sit and the crowd remained uncomfortably large throughout the first game. Unless you arrive well in advance, be sure to reserve a table or you may not be able to find a place. The interior is absolutely massive with multiple levels, bars, TVs and protectors and the service was as fast as could be expected given the number of patrons. The tap selection was decent with some typical beer and cider as well as extensive options in bottles and cans. The food, though I didn't try and, looked to be standard bar fare such as wings, fries and nachos which all smelled pretty good and definitely tempting. Overall, the experience here was positive and worthwhile though I could have done without the massive crowd that occasionally blocked some or most of my view and made it difficult to move around at all. Additionally, the broadcasts had some issues with flickering and going out several times during the game. However, it seems to be one of, if not the only, places in Dublin to show all NFL games so if that's what you're looking for,...
