Dash Burger — Restaurant in Dublin

Visit on February 23rd. Horrible customer service. Waiter barely acknowledge us entering the restaurant, we weren't even sure if he was a customer or someone working there. He was just leaving against the wall listening to music on his earphones. When there was a free table and we sit down he went over in 2 minutes and didn't even ask if we were ready to order and said "are you paying together or separately ". We said that we needed another minute to chose. When he came back to take the order he didn't say a word, took the order and handed the card machine. It is totally fine to pay in advance but it was very unnecessary to stick the card machine on our faces without saying a word. When he brought the orders he didn't even say which was which and left it on the table. We ordered drinks and a glass wasn't even offered. When I went to ask the girl in ggr counter she gave me a plastic cup, and they didn't have lemon. The same waiter was taking out the bin and literally passed bashing the bag on my friend's chair. I also saw he passing by a customer on the hall to the toilet and nearly elbowing here and not acknowledging her space at all. Furthermore the whole staff was on their phones the whole time. Hate leaving a bad review and completely understand that people have good and bad days. But this behavior for me is simply of someone who doesn't give a.... Food Quality Issues

The chips served were of extremely poor quality, resembling rejects from a fast-food chain rather than a proper restaurant offering. Their appearance was unappetizing and far below expected standards.

Excessive Oil Instead of being complemented by truffle mayo or an appropriate sauce, the chips were drowning in oil. This not only affected the taste but also the texture, making them unpleasantly greasy.

Lack of Truffle Flavor The advertised truffle flavor was noticeably absent from the dish. When this issue was brought to the staff's attention, their response was inadequate and concerning.

Questionable Truffle Oil In an attempt to address the lack of truffle flavor, you were provided with a small container of what was supposedly truffle oil. However, this oil appeared to be significantly past its prime, lacking the characteristic truffle aroma and suggesting it may have been expired for a considerable time.

This experience falls far short of acceptable culinary standards and customer service. The quality of ingredients, preparation methods, and staff response to concerns all require immediate attention and improvement.

To be honest it was more expensive than Eddie rocket, kind of 17 € for the meal and Eddie for much better quality only 14€!. It was just burger with meat and cheese (very bad quality). The receptionist didn’t understand what I was saying in English, even got wrong order of my bf. I tried to tell her I just want to add cheese on my fries but she said that she has to change my fries. Then, she said that the fries are “different”, I didn’t mean that that will not for it but was weird. Anyways, very small place, not good food and bad communication.

Actually, I asked to a Brazilian girl for salt and she asked to the same receptionist. Receptionist didn’t get from me or her in English what we were asking for (Brazilian girl has much better English) 👎 after a long day working and Friday is very awful experience.
