We were recommended high nellys by a local taxi man who picked us up from the wilder hotel... we missed breakfast after a night in Dublin and a westlife concert. The taxi man said high nellys was the best in Dublin and he was right. The owner was the best of craic and when we asked for pure orange we got a pint each because we’d told him we were out night before. The breakfast was delicious maybe just a bit too big but was really well priced. Coffee was fab and the atmosphere in there made me want it to be local to my house. Read moreWe were welcomed here within seconds and asked if we wanted coffee or tea before we even wandered over to a table. Lovely welcoming atmosphere when you’re jetlagged! My husband had the full Irish breakfast and I had the similar but vegetarian with an egg. I wasn’t sure about what kind of toast was on offer and when I heard someone Order soda bread toast, I hopped up and asked if I could change my toast order and he was extremely accommodating, even though my first order was already on the go.
