We were welcomed here within seconds and asked if we wanted coffee or tea before we even wandered over to a table. Lovely welcoming atmosphere when you’re jetlagged! My husband had the full Irish breakfast and I had the similar but vegetarian with an egg. I wasn’t sure about what kind of toast was on offer and when I heard someone Order soda bread toast, I hopped up and asked if I could change my toast order and he was extremely accommodating, even though my first order was already on the go. Great service, great atmosphere, terrific prices. A beautiful start to a magical week in Ireland! Sending love from Canada.

High Nelly’s is the quintessential Irish café; full Irish, decent coffee, a warm welcome & reasonable prices. This is such a light a city where it feels like lots has been commercialised and made for tourists. The boss is an absolute beast who’s happy to chat and give local information. We all had full Irish, which set us up for a big day, absolutely spot on! The coffee is not a game changer but decent enough. If your nearby and looking for the perfect start to a day of work or exploring the city, swing by here!

Adorable little café and brunch spot. There is a breakfast and lunch menu. The owner of the diner was so nice and hospitable!! We were visiting Dublin for 2 days and decided to choose a breakfast diner. This one was super affordable and delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was truly authentic. It is in a cute corner near the center of Dublin. I ordered the Full-Irish breakfast, which was perfect. The customer service was great and I felt at home!

We were recommended high nellys by a local taxi man who picked us up from the wilder hotel... we missed breakfast after a night in Dublin and a westlife concert. The taxi man said high nellys was the best in Dublin and he was right. The owner was the best of craic and when we asked for pure orange we got a pint each because we’d told him we were out night before. The breakfast was delicious maybe just a bit too big but was really well priced. Coffee was fab and the atmosphere in there made me want it to be local to my house. If I lived nearby I’d go every Saturday but unfortunately I’m 3 and a half hours...
