I figured it only right to spend the last night of my stay in Ireland in a room above a local pub. Kennedys Drumcondra was the perfect location all around.||The room was great. Nice and clean, with a comfy bed and plenty of pillows for those that need more than one. The room overlooked part of the roof and had a great view of a beautiful sunset to the west. The window allowed a cool breeze to keep the temp perfect all night long.||Toiletries are provided and the bathroom was nice and clean. The shower provided plenty of hot water and good water pressure.||Others have mentioned noise from the pub below, but I had no issues. It was a Tuesday night, which means BINGO started at 9pm. That was right about the time I decided to head to bed. I could hear a distant muffled sound of the BINGO caller but it wasn't bothersome. People in the bar couldn't be heard and it at no time awoken me from my sleep.||The pub downstairs is awesome. Multiple areas, great food and plenty of delicious pints of beer. I grabbed a couple pints there after dinner nearby, while the pub filled up with friendly folks getting ready for BINGO on a Tuesday night. The atmosphere was friendly and jovial. Wonderfully authentic Irish pub and people.||I came downstairs for breakfast in the morning. The staff are awesome. They were super attentive and friendly. The food was everything I wanted. The full Irish Breakfast was filling and delicious. Leroy and everyone were great. Just what I needed before a day of travel home.||I'm returning to Ireland just a month after and I plan to stay at Kennedys Drumcondra once again. It's a great place to get a room and awesome pub to enjoy a pint or two. Highly...

We came in from California and had our first stay of our trip at Kennedy’s. The bus ride from the airport was quick and easy, and walking into the bar to checkin with the bartender was seamless and she was so kind to help with the luggage as she showed us our room. We’re big walkers and really enjoyed walking to all of our activities like the Guinness Store House and the Dublin City Centre on our first full day. After that there was plenty to do around Drumcondra and we walked to the Glasnevin Cemetery and National Botanic garden for a day. Our last night we caught Tuesday night Bingo, where they kindly explained the difference from how we play in the US lol. It was packed and loads of fun, everyone was so friendly- with a special shout out to our bartender Eva who was just incredible and made us feel at home!!! Every bartender did this to be honest, but we had to ask her name because she was so great. We checked out at 11am but didn’t have a car pickup until 1pm and Leroy so kindly held all 6 of our luggage cases behind the bar while we walked down the street to grab breakfast. There is nothing bad to say about this stay and if we have to chance to visit beautiful Ireland again we...

Update in response to owner: Ok I'll be more specific, more beers apart from the usual diageo, bulmers, Heineken stuff. Common examples would be tiger, asahi, peroni etc. Not to mention craft beers like sierra nevada etc. I did see some craft cans/bottles in the fridge though but specifically talking about tap. Not sure if you're trying to be smart with the go outside if too hot comment :) Its the middle of winter and obviously there is an issue with the heat in that section as there are big A/C units hanging over the bar which were off when I came in and then emitted a dribble of air when turned on. Original review: Big pub in centre of Drumcondra. Nice Guinness usually although not a great selection of other beers. Was in the back section watching a match. Lots of tvs and seats but ridiculously hot. AC was turned on after a while which helped a bit but still stuffy. Ordered chicken burger which was pretty good.
