Seriously, this was by far the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The food was next-level. We had the Wings, the Chicken Sandwich (put chick-fil-a to shame), the Debris Fries (As a Texan, the brisket was killer and got the stamp of approval), and the beignets (I'd hook myself up to an IV of that bourbon caramel sauce). The service was impeccable. Every single person on the team was engaging , hilarious, genuine, hospitable, and super welcoming. They turned our meal into a legitimate experience, and honestly, it was the highlight of our whole trip.
Kurt and his team went totally above and beyond. (I feel horrible that I don't remember the gentleman who took care of us the second night we were there, because he was just as incredible. If I ever figure out his name, I'll update my review! Please help me out, Krewe PR team!! ) They weren’t just doing their job, they made us feel like VIPs in the most effortless way. I've never felt more welcomed in a restaurant before in my life. And they had white claw, which I gladly bought copious amounts of. (Kurt, if you read this, I'm pretty sure you'll remember who I am. lol😉)
I’ve told absolutely everyone who’ll listen: if you’re dropping your hard-earned cash in Dublin, make this place an absolute must. If i could give them 10 stars, I would. Highly recommend. Please open a location in Tampa. I'll GLADLY be your US...
Read moreCame here for a very late lunch, expecting more based on the raving reviews, but it didn’t live up to the hype.
The service was so-so—15 minutes passed between ordering my drink and the server coming back for my food order, which was a bit annoying, though these things can happen
Now, onto the food:
Calamari – Good flavor but a disappointingly small portion.
Mac & Cheese – Very creamy but lacked that proper cheesy texture and depth of flavor. The parmesan on top wasn’t enough to compensate.
Hot Sauce Wings – This was the biggest letdown. The wings were very dry and lacked the juiciness you’d expect, which ruined the dish. The blue cheese sauce was good, but it couldn’t save the wings. When a whole section of the menu is dedicated to NOLA Fried Chicken, you expect them to absolutely nail it—unfortunately, they didn’t.
The ambience was nice, and the seasoning on the food was good but thats to be expected from a Nolan kitchen. If a place is going to highlight fried chicken as a specialty, it needs to deliver. Given the food quality and service, I can’t justify anything...
Read moreI visited Krewe today after months of wanting to try it out, and I’ve heard great things about this place. The menu is very diverse, with loads of great choices. I tried the buttermilk chicken tenders with skin-on fries, and my partner had the chicken biscuit. Great portions and very reasonable prices. The staff were nice, and the place has a great atmosphere with very cool decor and lighting. Even though it's not specifically aimed at children, I was able to get hash browns and a sausage patty for my child, and it was great. The non-alcoholic cocktail (Jungle Juice) was delicious, and the mozzarella sticks are huge—probably some of the best I’ve had, mainly because of the amount of cheese in them. I do have to say that I was expecting bolder flavors, but it seems they're playing it safe, which is okay too. I'd love to come back to try the dinner menu. Lastly, there was an issue with the dessert we ordered (Mississippi Mud Pie), and they kindly offered to remove it from the bill as a kind gesture, which I really appreciated. Overall, I'd...
