I'm torn about this place. The concierge at the hotel next door recommended this place highly. I was very excited to go. My partner and I go and take a couple of stools at the bar. The bartender and host see us sit down and keep pouring the orders they have. Understandable. So we wait, and wait and wait and wait. At this point, my boyfriend is upset and wants to tell these people off. Mind you, we are right in front of the bartenders but they serve people who walk up next to us. I finally get the attention of the lady and I ask "did I do something wrong? I've been here waiting and neither you or the other bartender have bothered to serve us". She apologized, went and jokingly hit the bartender in the head. He said he didn't see us. We were served and treated very very well after that but to get to that point, had to practically do summersaults for attention. My bf said he never ever had that kind of issue, it only happened when I was with him. It did happen in several places when we were together. When he went to the places alone, instant service for him . He's Caucasian, and I'm Mexican.

Nice bar, nice decoration, sympathic staff. After 3 days in Dublin I think that we can say Camden Street has the nicest pubs. The beer is not as expensive as in Temple Bar pubs. No live music in there but a very nice playlist filled with 80s and 90s classics. I think the main room is more lively but it was crowded so we were in a room in the back, much quieter. The food is okay-ish, I guess. The fish&chips was good, served with tartare sauce and peas puree. The french fries were nice even if I prefer a smaller cut. However, the cauliflowers wings were not to my taste at all. The batter was soggy and not crispy, and the cauliflowers were a little bit undercooked. The pineapple buffalo hot sauce was very sour and not really tasty. I'm sorry but I didn't finish this starter I ordered as my main dish, and instead switched with my boyfriend's french fries. Nevertheless we spent a really nice evening in the Bleeding Horse and will recommend it for the atmosphere, really nice decoration and nice staff.

This place is an amazing experience! Our hotel was right across the street and I’m so happy we decided to go! The building, it’s history it is just amazing! Their food was delicious! New York burger with goat cheese is just massive and very tasty! My friend had a cheesy fries which been very nice just on the bottom there was some strange cheesy sauce ( a bit tasteless some salt could help) otherwise it tasted like something you pour over Mac n’ Cheese. But the rest was just perfect experience! Definitely will come back next time when visiting Dublin.

This is one of my favorite spots to grab a pint in Dublin, but yesteday I had a disappointing experience. I ordered a Guinness, but it was served in a Guinness 0.0 glass, which made me unsure if I had been given the correct drink. I politely asked the staff to confirm that it was the regular Guinness with alcohol and not the 0.0 version. I also asked if it would be possible to have it poured into a standard glass for clarity.

The staff were friendly and initially agreed to change it. However, after consulting with the manager (Paul), things took a turn. The manager came over to explain that it was indeed regular Guinness, just served in the wrong glass. I then requested, again politely, that they pour me a new pint into a proper glass since I had only taken a single sip.

At this point, the manager’s attitude shifted drastically. He started saying that if I didn’t like it, I could go somewhere else, and he spoke loudly enough for other customers to overhear. To make matters worse, he mumbled swearing while eventually giving me another pint. The entire situation felt unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional, especially since my request was reasonable and respectful.

This was a really unpleasant experience, and I can’t understand why the manager responded so aggressively when all I wanted was to ensure I received...

The Bleeding Horse Pub holds a special place in my heart as one of the most authentic and charming pubs I've had the pleasure of visiting. Nestled in the heart of the city, this historical gem offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, top-notch service, and a selection of beverages that will satisfy any connoisseur.

Upon stepping through the doors of The Bleeding Horse, I was instantly transported to a bygone era. The pub's rustic interior, adorned with vintage memorabilia, dark wooden furnishings, and cozy nooks, exudes a sense of Irish heritage and tradition. The friendly chatter, clinking of glasses, and live music create an ambiance that is both lively and comforting.

The Bleeding Horse takes pride in its extensive drink menu, boasting an impressive array of Irish whiskies, craft beers, and expertly crafted cocktails. From the moment I perused the options, I knew I was in for a treat. The knowledgeable bartenders guided me through their offerings, sharing anecdotes and recommendations, ensuring I found the perfect libation to suit my taste. Each sip was a delight, showcasing the dedication and skill that goes into crafting the...
