I'm sorry for possible bad English! This isn't my native tounge. So here we go...
What a horrible horrible store. We actually walked by and I had to check it out. We entered and HOLY S**T is it hot. Not as in "awesome" but as in "the doors of hell have opened upon thee puny mortal!"
I browsed through the back section, especially the graphic novels. The following is absolutely true. I picked up the Preacher Box Set. A nice little addition to my collection. Flipping it over it said 150$ 170CAD but no sticker which indicated the price in the store. I went ahead and asked a nice young lady how much I would have to spend to acquire this item. Let's just say looks can be deceiving. She immediately gave me a look of exasperation. I hesitated thinking my English might be the problem and I accidentally asked for her first born/kidney/night of unbelievable pleasure. Seeing as my wife was with me, I made sure that I did indeed ask for the price. She nodded and gave me a thumbs up. The problem must have been something else. Apparently she was developing the cure for cancer and I just disturbed her train of thought.
(I just want to apologize to everyone having/getting cancer now. My bad!)
The nice young Succubus... I mean Lady went away. I hoped that she was checking the price and not summoning Chuthulu. Seeing as both was possible I took on a fighting stance.
Minutes were wasting away, turning to hours. Hours to days and days to years...
At least it felt like that. Especially since I could actually see that she was talking to her colleague. I don't know what they were talking about but they were laughing (more on that in a minute).
She came back and this is when it started getting weird. She came back and this is what she told me: It used to be 150€ but now it's 200€!
I stammered not comprehending
"Wh..what?
"You mean it was..
This was about the time I turned into a clump of coal and burned up.
All in all a horrible, hot and unfriendly experience... unless you like that...

My son didn't like the fact It was crowded on the streets, so we entered in a fishing tackle shop to get a sword & axe pin, I asked the guy where the shop with all the movie figures was located, he said its right around the corner; we arrived at Forbidden Planet about 5.30pm and we were the last customers to leave. This shop is very cool, this is a dream place to visit for all those marvel, movie and gaming fanactics, there's all sorts of merch at this store, with a price range from low to high, this store is very maize like to navigate around as there is stairs and different layers and floors, and there is stock on every wall, you could get lost in this store. What a store to visit with my son, he found Five Nights at Freddies figures and we went to pay for his selections, Radioactive Foxy and Toxic Springtrap and a Sonic the Hedgehog 3D mug and he said the customer service was great and complimented them all the way home and to top it off the guy gave us 2 x forbidden plant bags for the goods, Great store, great location, great stock, great packaging and a great experience overall....

In the past years and years back I shopped at this store twice weekly when living in Dublin for college, it was where I started my comic book collecting. I always loved it and it was 10 out of 10 after each visit...heck 1,000,000 out of 10! Today upon my first visit after years I had a pleasant experience with several staff that I had encountered. However both experiences where ruined when I encountered this middle aged, very rude guy with a blonde ponytail. I am not sure but he might be the manager. Just an assumption. By his attitude to me it seems like he is either not happy to be working there or it could be the case that he isn't the manager and is not happy about that. ANYWAY... If he is indeed the manager then the store is lucky it is just in such a great location because if it was just relying on customer service then...😬 There are other good comic book stores in Dublin but obviously most people would go to this one. Now I would give it just 1 out of 10 because at least I got the comics I wanted...but I could of easily got them at another store and I will moving forward. It is a shame but what can ya do...I need my custom to be...
