Stop RACISM in the Jellycat store!!!

My friend and I were trying to buy two Irish Hammock from the jellycat store. But the lady at the cashier stopped us. With a horrible and condescending attitude, she said we had bought one 1 hour ago and could only buy one more this time.

We were absolutely sure that they remembered the wrong Chinese faces because we only arrived at the store like 10 minutes ago. We showed her our parking ticket with a timestamp immediately. But shockingly, they wouldn't even look at it! Just keep saying you can not buy because you were here before.

We took this to their manager. We showed them our parking ticket and told them we can even show our shopping records at IKEA one hour ago. In contrast, the racist lady keeps saying "They can not buy because they have bought it. My two colleagues say so. " But when we asked for these allegedly "witnesses colleagues", no one admitted they served us one hour ago. Everyone is saying someone else saw us.

One would think it's an easy judgement since it's words against evidence. But disappoitingly not, their manager still hesitated. After a while, finally they let us buy but we did not get any apologies. Another management lady came and said "You got what you want now. Don't act like this any more. " EXCUSE ME??? Being allowed to buy something like anyone else is a privilege or a reward for us?

Mistakes are understandable. It's alright if you can not distinguish Chinese faces. But in front of so many evidence, they still acted so condescending and arrogant, refusing to look at any evidence. That is plain arrogance and RACISM! This time we had evidence but what if it were others who don't have any evidence? The racists are the ones making accusations. They are supposed to provide proofs. When asked about proofs that we have been here, they said they don't have any. Contrarily, we do have proof that we have NOT been there. Still, we got the cold faces and no one stood up for us against this bullying. I'm so disappointed in this store amd will never set foot in it again.

STOP RACISM!!! Please stand up for yourself and for anyone who is been...

I have very mixed feelings about Brown Thomas. For the most part staff have an air of superiority about them and have a very un welcoming attitude about them. If you walk in decked head to toe in Gucci they fall over themselves to be nice to you. We came across three sales staff who seemed to buck the trend. A young woman on the sunglasses counter was so helpful. A lady who worked in the lingerie/underwear dept was very nice. I've found that partners/husbands who enter lingerie sections are often treated as if they are perverts on the prowl, however I was greeted just as warmly as my wife. However I was given "dirty looks" by other staff while waiting outside the dressing rooms even though these are unisex!! But the employee of the month goes to the sales lady in Kitchen Aid (I want to say Margarita???). She was such a joy to deal with. Accommodating, polite, a font of knowledge. Other staff could learn from these three. Remember folks, most of you work for commission I'm sure! Parts of the store I also found to be a bit rundown. The carpet on one of the staircases was dirty and worn. Perhaps BT management need to use some of those store mirrors for some self reflection. Anyway putting all that aside, yes I would recommend shopping here for those little luxuries in life but only because of those literally hand full of staff that make the store welcoming and the wide ranges available in various depts. If that were to change on my next visit then I would be...

Placed an order on the 24th of December and got a cancellation email on the 26th. 75% of the items ordered were cancelled. The total of the order was around 770 Euro and the only item that will be delivered are 2 pair of socks worth 17 Euro. The other items were exclusive items of which BT only has 1 or 2 of each size, so stock should be easily managed. 1 of the item was in stock twice and still the item was not shipped. I have a strong feeling that BT received hundreds of orders over the Christmas period and were unable to allocate the items on the shop floor to the online orders on time. Then on the 26th of December, BT opened its doors at 10:00 and most likely sold items in store that were already sold via the website and app prior to the 26th of December. It is so uncool, so customer unfriendly! All the excitement and happiness replaced with shear disbelieve and disappointment. There is no other explanation, the stock system can’t be that bad. This is extremely disappointing and it keeps on happening. I have raised my concerns with the customer team, but all my points are ignored. I merely get a few apologies and my concerns are totally ignored. I tried to call twice and I left 2 voicemails and I am not getting any call back. That's what you get for being a platinum customer, it is not worth it. Nobody is taking ownership and trying to rectify the situation, just some corporate general & vague replies, until you get tired...

If you're looking for a shopping experience that is both luxurious and personalized, then Brown Thomas Dublin is the place to go. From the moment you step into the store, you are surrounded by exotic fragrances, stylish clothes, and beautiful accessories that are sure to catch your eye. But what really sets Brown Thomas apart from other stores is their exceptional customer service. During my recent visit, I was fortunate enough to receive assistance from a staff member who was simply outstanding. Her knowledge of the products was unmatched, and she was incredibly patient and attentive throughout the entire shopping experience. In particular, she helped me choose the perfect pair of sunglasses. She took the time to understand my style and preferences, and then showed me several different options that would work well for me. She even helped me try on different pairs of sunglasses to ensure that they fit comfortably and looked great. Thanks to her expert guidance, I ended up purchasing two pairs of sunglasses that I absolutely love. They are both stylish and comfortable, and I have received numerous compliments on them since purchasing them. Overall, I would highly recommend Brown Thomas to anyone looking for a personalized and luxurious shopping experience. The quality of the products is exceptional, and the customer service is simply outstanding. Five stars all around!
