We’ve been going to Val’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria for the past couple of months with our friends and family, and it’s easily become one of our favorite spots in the city. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming the perfect mix of authentic Italian charm and Dublin friendliness.
Owen is always fantastic, remembering our favorite pizza and drinks every time we visit. The staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel right at home.
The food is simply delicious from the wood fired pizzas with that perfect crispy crust to the rich, homemade sauces and fresh pasta dishes. You can really taste the care and quality in every bite. When she questioned it, the waiter insisted she had ordered the antipasto—not the “antipasti,” claiming the latter was the meat option. However, according to the menu, antipasto is the meat dish, while the vegan one is clearly labeled “Vegan Discovery Platter.”
The vegan option was also disappointing: just a few rocket leaves, one type of cheese, and some olives—no dressing, no olive oil, and...
