Customer service is amazing and friendly, price is reasonable and food was ok and presentation of food was good also. Menu had very few in selection, but for a place like this at busy times, it’s good, as it enables the chef to prepare food at speed. If you’re looking for Authenticity of SK food, this isn’t it, but understand that it’s “fusion” food from an Irish chef, so the menu is misleading in this instance. Note: kimchi doesn’t taste like anything in their menu, so prepare for disappointment if you’re looking for this taste. The chicken in the burgers were great, good flavour and a crunch, mild heat from the sauce but seemed to not really have flavour and is over powered by scallions. The same sauce was added onto the “fries” (chips). The cheese was disappointing, it tasted like it looked… processed. I would love to see these burgers and chips with real melted cheese with varying cheese options (After a while, the burgers didn’t taste of anything due to the mild heat and scallions). The bacon fries and “cheese” was actually with bbq sauce or what seemed to be infused with bbq but surprisingly, was the better half of the meal. The pickles in the burgers were a lovely addition (I love pickles, some may think differently) to the somewhat - bland burger. Overall, the food was a bit of a let down but, wasn’t bad at all and was average in taste. I would definitely go again just to try everything on their menu and to give another review. Furthermore, I understand this place’s intention to try something different, and it’s admirable, and for this, I’d definitely go again just for something different. Great job guys and girls for creating something different! (No sarcasm here, it’s genuine appraisal) A chicken burger joint with a twist! Total €43, 2 kimcheese burgers, kimcheese fries, bacon and cheese fries, 1 coke and tap water.

Amazing new spot in Dublin that’s after becoming my favourite fast casual place in town. This restaurants offers exciting twists on fried chicken as we know it. I ordered the Korean hot wings for starts and they were great. Slightly more spicy than Frank’s hot sauce and a slightly different flavour to it. Great wings, fried in the same batter as the chicken burgers and it’s delicious. They came topped with pickles onion which I enjoyed, however for others it may take away from the wings with so many different things happening in the portion. The cheese and bacon fries are fantastic. The sauce extremely tasty and the addition of the spring onion gives them a lift. I ordered the K-BBQ burger and wasn’t let down. Everything on the burger adds something different and all the flavours come together so well. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the crunch on the batter adds a nice textural element. The service is a bit weak but it may improve in time. I was told the place is only open a few months. Overall great experience. Best chicken burger in Dublin in my opinion and I can’t wait to go back again and try more menu items.

This new restaurant in Dublin has a lot of potential. We visited yesterday and it does look like there is a good selection of local brew beer and the restaurant definitely has a nice atmosphere. From the meal we had our favourite thing was the fried cauliflower which was amazing. Unfortunately the chicken didn't quite hit the mark. It was very well cooked, super juicy and the batter was very crispy but needed a bit more seasoning in the batter, some extra salt would make a massive difference. It also came warm, not hot which is a little concerning. I believe it would be nice to have another sauce on the menu that is extra hot, the ones available were not particularly spicy (they were very delicious), so having the additional options would be a great addition. Overall the food was good. Good value for money and we'll cooked. A few tweaks and it will be amazing. I feel that these things are likely to all be teething issues with a new restaurant, which is completely fair and I would like to return in a few weeks when things have settled down to try it again.

Food was okay I ordered the K-BBQ KFC it was definitely an acquired taste in my opinion. Notes of sweetness, an overpowering sourness, savory flavors. Would have been lovely with some rice. 3.5/5 for the fried chicken. I was very impressed by the Bacon and Cheese fries. Beautiful flavor perfect combination of melty cheese and beautifully candied bacon, 5/5. Lovely place for a drink with plenty of experimental options 5/5.

The service was good quick, very friendly n helpful staff!

However, the atmosphere. I really liked the simple, modern, urban-style decoration. But I will have to add I was not impressed by the melancholy blue wall in contrast to the lovely spacious white wall on the other side, as it added a sad vibe to the space in coordination with the industrial white light. Though, I was overwhelmed by the loud music and the dull essence of the industrial lab-style lighting. The atmosphere, specifically the music was so overwhelming I had to step outside for a moment for some peace. The chairs could do with some cushioning as-well but I understand it might not be the look the designers were going for, given the Korean street-food theme but would be a nice touch. As harsh as it sounds, it is as honest as I can be about how I felt at that very moment. It is safe to say I was not too impressed by the atmosphere.

Overall very decent restaurant, good food, friendly staff, nice drinks. But will I be back to visit?...

I used to love Chimac however the last few times I’ve been in there’s been a noticeable fall off in quality which I believe is related to their expansion and focus on other commercial efforts like producing and selling their sauces. I was in yesterday, got the good-good burger which was more like the so-so burger. A big piece of chicken which was well cooked however the bun was slightly burnt and there was a severe lack of condiments in the burger- pickles/jalapeño relish however most most striking of all there was little to no cheese sauce which is what makes the burger. I pointed this out to the manager who not so promptly brought me down a side dish of sauce. To my shock I was then charged €2.65 for this when I requested my bill. I used to love Chimac but if quality continues to fall off like this, I shall not be back. 17.65€ for a dry burger with no sides? There is far better value to be had in the city.

Update: The team contacted me 20 minutes after this review was posted, apologised profusely and offered me a refund and a free meal next time I was to dine at their restaurant. I replied and gave them my details. I have had a refund initiated to my account and they sent a delivery of food to my house which was amazing- the usual standard I’d expect from Chimac. Thank you to Sofie and the team for...
