Had a great experience at BoTown. I had the "No-Bo-A-Do" and my friend had the "The No Do" (Both burgers come with a good serving of chips). The two vegetarian burger options. For sides we got the Mac and cheese and the halloumi sticks along with 4 dips. To be honest neither of us loved the vegetarian burgers but the "No-Bo-A-Do" was definitely the tastier option. The reason why I've given this place such a great review is because of the service and the sides. The Mac and cheese was really tasty and the halloumi sticks were great as well especially with the hot cheese sauce (just the Mac and cheese sauce but still really nice and well seasoned). All the dips were really nice and the chips were great as well! The server girl was also great. Don't remember her name but think it was a blonde girl who was super kind. She let us pray in the room whilst the restaurant was quiet. Such kindness doesn't go unnoticed and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

Botown Burger Shop in Galway offers a delicious and diverse menu of burgers, sides, and drinks. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff. The burgers are cooked to perfection and use high-quality ingredients, making each bite an explosion of flavor. The sides, including the hand-cut fries, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks, are also delicious and a perfect complement to the burgers. The restaurant offers a vegetarian option. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food, and the portion sizes are generous. Overall, Botown Burger Shop is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a delicious burger in Galway.

First off all, the burger was amazing! Honestly a great burger. Liked the bun and the sauce and the burger itself was of great quality and thickness. My main point of criticism were the fries. They look amazing on the photos in reviews but I think we got a bad batch. The fries were oily and not crispy at all. Extremely dark and looked like they had been soaking up grease. Looked like when you fry your homemade fries just a single time instead of parfrying once or twice before the final fry. Fries from other customers looked much better. A shame because otherwise it would've been 5 stars.

Really disappointed with our experience here. When we recieved our burger and what was suppose to be sweet potatoe fries, they were completely burnt/over done. We had a lovely waitress and I kindly asked her to bring them back. She did so, she apologised and was very professional. I could see her approach the owner and he just turned his head away and ignored the situation and ignored us for the rest of the stay! (Up until then he was all smiles) he was the one who dropped the food down to us and couid clearly see the state of the fries but left her to deal with it. She came back with a ridiculous excuse the chef sent her down with (that it was whatever oil they got in that day that cause them to be black) but the tasted horrific! (Not my first time having sweet potatoe fries) she returned with only my fries changed to regular fries and my partner still had the burnt sweet potatoes on his plate!!!!! Ridiclous. we went to pay for our tiny burger and burnt fries, we paid full price! Our waitress and the owner (still) ignoring us. To put the cherry on top when we were leaving there hungry we then saw them serve PERFECT looking sweet potatoe fries to some other table! The Worst customer service and food I have ever...

Was really excited to try this place. But we arrived around half 3 so it wasn’t busy but staff were fairly lacking in welcoming us. We sat down to then wait for about 10 minutes for menus to be handed to us. Food itself was lovely but the bo town gravy tasted a bit odd. We both had upset stomachs afterwards so maybe it was reheated one too many times if it contained meat juices.

I wasn’t asked if everything was ok and if I wanted another drink which was annoying. I waited easily 15 minutes to pay the bill all the meanwhile new customers were waiting just as long for their order to be taken. I could tell they weren’t happy. I saw one of the chefs place chips into a bowl with his bare hands after rubbing his nose. The girl that gave me the bill didn’t even ask if everything was ok or if we enjoyed. For these reasons I have to leave it at 3 stars. I think the service aspect lets down the food.. it just needs some refinement because there’s a difference between being waited on and just having convenient sit down like the style in boojum. It’s one...

It's definitely the place to get a top-class burger in Galway!

There's two dining areas; the ground floor gives off an intimate small sit-down café atmosphere perfect for a couple whilst the upper floor has more space that suits a group.

The service was excellent, and the staff both pleasant , friendly, and helpful.

The food was phenomenal! I highly recommend the BóTown Burger with a side of sweet potato fries. Portion sizes were decent. Compared to other establishments, you get more quantity and quality for your money.

There are vegan options available from what I saw on the menu, and one of our group members had some and fully enjoyed their meal.

Good variety on both food and drinks available. No hard liquor is available. Mostly ales, cocktails, beer, ciders, and IPA.

Toilet available on the upper floor, it's spotless and well looked after.

The entire establishment was clean and well maintained.

Since our group was more than the table upstairs we're meant It's definitely a favourite and will...
