Cold chips and rude improperly dressed staff-AVOID. My girlfriend had a chicken burger and I ordered a beef burger (as they didn’t have smoked cod) we also decided to share a portion of bacon cheese chips and everything looked fine when it arrived, the burgers were adequate if a little cold but the chips were quite cold, I went back up to ask for fresher ones but was told no as “that is the temperature they are”. At no point did any of the grated cheese melt at all which will tell you that they were definitely well below the temperature they should have been at. The staff were also not correctly attired for serving/cooking food, only one was wearing a hat and they were not the one actually cooking. Neither people doing the cooking had their hair covered and while one was wearing a chef jacket, the other was wearing jeans, a T-shirt and hoodie. Cooking chips and burgers well is not rocket science and in Ireland it’s expected that potatoes are cooked well. Do better please and work on the customer service, I won’t be back.

It's a reasonably good fast food place with quite a few different food choices to pick from. Service was fairly good, though unfortunately they didn't follow the order on the hamburger and my son couldn't eat the burger. The pizza was good, as was the fish and chips. I'd give them another chance if I was in the area again.

I enjoyed the chips and burger and my son enjoyed his chicken goujons and battered sausage. You get a good sized bag of chips. I order the other day too, coleslaw chips and curry sauce, the coleslaw chips were lovely, I ordered a large coleslaw chips, but there was too little chips in it. I was still hungry afterwards. I thought next time I will order the coleslaw separately, but I didn't see it on the menu as a separate item. The curry sauce was much nicer the other day than tonight's curry sauce. There are a few old chips thrown in with fresh chips, but I just removed them. I would order again as I enjoyed the food so far. I used to order from Giovanni's as my son liked battered sausages, but they gave us disgusting burnt beyond burnt cocktail sausages the last time, made us sick just to taste and I've not gone back since, so I hope Vinnies continues to provide good food, perhaps Mr Vinnies Takeaway, for the large coleslaw chips, either give a bigger container or give the coleslaw separately. I don't have a big appetite, but the large coleslaw chips left me hungry, keep up...

Great chipper. Hand cut chips are brill. Portion size is amazing Straight in for a bypass . One star off for the amount of oil and seasoning. Yes, it's a chipper, deep fried, i know. But compared to few others, these are like sponges of oil. Second, when you go for salt and vinegar, they're usually all on the top and not evenly across. It's like a salt overdose and then nothing at all. Dare you give a mix, they're all in the bottom of the bag. The only way around is to season them in the station and then pile it in a tall narrow bag. Finally, another star off as the chips were mildly warm and not fresh hot. You looking yourself anyway, why not fry to order rather than pile up and serve cold. Especially now in Covid, we don't have mad midnight rush to keep the flow going. Speed here in this case...
