Friends and I were looking for a place to sit and eat, however upon entering, the employees behind the counter were already giving us weird looks. after sitting down for maybe 3 minutes, a female employee came around from behind the counter and informed us that we had to leave. we were looking at the menu and deciding what we wanted to order. we then left and returned to a different table outside of the full cafe area, still thinking about what we wanted to order. immediately, the girl came back over and scolded us, using our previous interaction as a reason to immediately (and very rudely) tell us to leave. i currently have a broken ankle and was desperate to sit down for even just a few minutes, but i never even had a chance to inform this employee of my situation, not like she would have cared. -10000/10 service As a barista I would never even thought to have acted with the same disgrace and unprofessionalism as i was treated with. do not go here if you are a...

There were 3 employees behind the counter, the tables were not wiped down as people left. We got our drinks and 2 cookies and a gingerbread man. Firstly the cookie hot chocolate had no cookies in it and the smores one was just plain hot chocolate. The drinks were all tepid. I told the girl who served us that they had no cookies in them I also told her they were cold she told me she would speak to her colleague and then told me they don't use cookies they use a cookie syrup!!    Read moreI visited Insomnia CafĂ© in Galway today and was disappointed with the service. All the tables were dirty, and when I politely asked a staff member to clean one, she seemed annoyed and just kept saying, âWeâre closing soon.â She did clean the table and take my order, but later told other customers they were closing with a look that basically said, âGet out.â
I understand staff can be tired at the end of the day, but that shouldnât affect how customers are treated. Good service means staying polite and professional. Personal issues shouldnât be passed on to customers.
I hope management takes this seriously. Experiences like this are why people stop...
