EDIT!! * Really sorry didn’t realise you can only leave reviews immediately after an experience!! I actually heard a person saying they were quite upset with the customer service and it reminded me that I never left a review last year when I was here and felt I could do it now. I think the arrogance really shines bright here when you think we must be “local competitors” instead of just dealing with a customer who isn’t impressed. All the best! * Food isn’t too bad but overall awful experience. The man running it needs a few lessons on customer service. Extremely rude to certain customers and passive with the lady working for him. Made for an awful atmosphere in the place. Food prices are extortionate, and his explaining of his food quality doesn’t make up for the prices when the rest of the town has equally amazing produce at half the cost. Very...

This a real gem of a place. We first fell in love with the “Kitchen” in August 2024 when we participated in the L’Etape Ireland which was being held in Killarney. A few weeks later we were on our cycling tour of Ireland and we deliberately planned our route in Kerry to stop off in Killarney and have brunch at the “Kitchen”. We were not disappointed. Their club sandwich is an absolute must and make sure to leave room for their scones with the obligatory butter, cream & jam. The owners, Bruce & Heidi, could not have been more welcoming. We had a great conversation with good humour before we headed off on the rest of our tour. We enjoyed our time so much that when some overseas family spent part of their holidays in Killarney we recommended that they visit the “Kitchen”. Needless to say they left both...

Breakfast was good and we weren’t long waiting. The gentleman with the English accent needs to curb his attitude a little…

My son ordered a Capri Sun with his full Irish. I said “would you not prefer orange juice?”. The English gentleman turns to me and abruptly says “he wants Capri Sun”.

There was nothing in the way of charm or conversation. I also noticed this guy being a little passive aggressive with a waitress.

He perked up a little when I was paying. Perhaps he doesn’t mean to be so rude , but it’s not good enough.

The girls in there could not have been...

I love going here the coffee and food is amazing the decor gives me bridgeton vibes and its like I’m in the 1800s and came to gossip at the caffee with my girlfriends or alone to read a book the place is very quiet i like that there isnt wifi so i can connect more with real life surroundings. The staff are very polite and welcoming i always look forward to going there. 100/10

We were about to pass on this venue when Bruce told us there were empty tables upstairs. We're super happy we got to experience this wonderful establishment! Everything was spectacular including the service and food. Small details for a very fair price. Note the fancy illustrations in the coffee and hot chocolate drinks. Very nice touch.
