I actually heard a person saying they were quite upset with the customer service and it reminded me that I never left a review last year when I was here and felt I could do it now. I think the arrogance really shines bright here when you think we must be “local competitors” instead of just dealing with a customer who isn’t impressed. This a real gem of a place. We first fell in love with the “Kitchen” in August 2024 when we participated in the L’Etape Ireland which was being held in Killarney. A few weeks later we were on our cycling tour of Ireland and we deliberately planned our route in Kerry to stop off in Killarney and have brunch at the “Kitchen”. We were not disappointed. Their club sandwich is an absolute must and make sure to leave room for their scones with the obligatory butter, cream & jam. The owners, Bruce & Heidi, could not have been more welcoming. We had a great conversation with good humour before we headed off on the rest of our tour. My son ordered a Capri Sun with his full Irish. I said “would you not prefer orange juice?”. The English gentleman turns to me and abruptly says “he wants Capri Sun”.

There was nothing in the way of charm or conversation. I also noticed this guy being a little passive aggressive with a waitress.
