Good restaurant right in the center of Limerick.Always busy, you have to book place before, but we didn’t wait for a long time,we were waiting a little bit, like 10 minutes. This is a good place to celebrate birthdays.

The staff was very busy so they probably weren't very smiling but the orders were brought quickly and the staff only helped the robots who drove around the hall and delivered the food.

I really like mussels so I ordered mussels in cream sauce It was very tasty The portion was very small Usually the portions for this price in other places in Ireland were bigger.

The atmosphere was festive and in the evening it became a bit noisy because more and more people were arriving, but if you go in the afternoon around 12:00, there aren't that many people, but still almost the entire restaurant was full.

There is a large bar here decorated with unusual hanging chandeliers that look very nice. In general, the interior is elegant and festive, suitable for celebrating some extraordinary dates on this day. We watched a birthday celebration. So people can sit in the hall or they can sit near the bar. There are two large halls here that are separated, so there is a lot of space. Overall we had a great time here the service was very fast the atmosphere is also very nice Thank you for the pleasant...

Absolutely appalling service. Booked table week ago for half four this evening for my sister's birthday plan was to have dinner then see the Christmas lights be turned on at six. When arrived table was not ready we waited till 5 o clock to be seated. Service very slow throughout my fiance got a chilli burger which was supposed to have chilli mayo when he asked for it the waiter took the meal , two minutes later brought back the Same burger with no sauce , then waitress threw packets of mayonnaise at the table and said that's all we got. Absolutely taken back by this we just ignored it and ate our meal, took 15mins waiting time for them to clean up throughout the meals. It was now 6:30 we missed the lights , when we went to pay the manager was extremely rude asking for a receipt from my sister who previously paid as she needed to leave early but came back to collect some of us. Let's just say I or any of my family and friends will not be eating at Marco Polo again the food was disgusting still hungry, service was disgraceful it really is not...

Overall, we had an okay experience in Marco Polo.

As one of us is coeliac, we had rang ahead to make sure that there would be suitable options available as the allergens are not shown on the menu online. We were reassured that there are plenty of gluten free options however, when we saw the allergen menu in the restaraunt, we were disapointed as the options were fairly limited. It would be much better if the allergens were shown online so you can actually decide if it's worth going there when you have dietary requirements. The staff didn't seem that knowledgable on the allergens either.

The food we had for starters and mains was nice but not really anything special. Dessert was lovely and the saving grace!

Atmosphere left a bit to be desired, didn't feel relaxed or comfortable but maybe that was just because of where we were sitting.

If anything, I would advise the restaraunt to put their allergen info online so that people with dietary requirements can actually know what they can get before going to the restaraunt and...

Vegan review: There was only one dish that I could see that was vegan which was the quinoa starter salad. After a lot of questions and to-ing and fro-ing (and eye rolling) the salad was served with sauce which had dairy in! So they took it back and brought it back... without quinoa! So they took it back again and brought it back with the quinoa. It was ok. Then the same thing with questions for the vegetable fajitas. They brought out sour cream and guacamole with the fajitas. I obviously couldn’t have the sour cream and when I asked for confirmation whether the guacamole was vegan they couldn’t as it wasn’t made in-house. So I asked for avocado and extra salsa instead. It was delicious!

I really liked this restaurant. Very cool cosmopolitan vibe. Nice lighting and mural artwork. They have a cool feline robot that helps deliver food to your table. We did the lunch special (app and main). I had the crispy chicken wings which were very good, and the Singapore noodles with chicken and shrimp. I really enjoyed it. I would have liked for it to be spicier, but I don't expect spicy food in Ireland. My wife had the Marco Polo Burger with fried onion. She was disappointed, d she thought the fried onion was the best part, not the beef patty. She also had the calamari, which was not fried or crispy, but had a good flavor.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would the services was excellent. Had a lovely lady who is sadly leaving them to go work for an imt company. She explained she worked there for nearly 7 yrs. Her attention to detail and manner was amazing. The food and menu choices are great from both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The roasted cauliflower and favour was a flavourful boom 💥. Noodles again packed with flavour husband had the steak which was tender. We had the 3 courses for 30 euros which I thought was great value. There was a supplement for the steck option. They have a robot service which is very quirky
