Canteen — Restaurant in Limerick

Walked in and very quiet with 3 customers for t/a coffees and one sitting customer plus myself. Paid and sat down to wait for my order. I asked if I they can heat the lemon cake I ordered. Staff went straight to chef to ask if it's possible to heat it up . Next thing chef looked out and checked which customer requested and as soon as he saw an Asian customer he told staff sorry we have no microwave and it will take 10 minutes to heat up the cake. But what he didn't know I worked in the kitchen so I know how long it will take to heat it up using oven. Adding insult to injury, the coffee I ordered was cold. I worked in cafes over 10 years .this is not the kind of service one should expect. On quiet times the more we should be looking after customers irregardless of creed colour or...

Sorry. The people working here seemed very nice, pleasant and obliging. Due to current circumstances we sat out side, this was a nice enough bench. Inside the restaurant seemed artisan and interesting. We ordered lunch. 1 cheese toasties from the kids menu. 1 ham and cheese toastie and chicken and cheese toastie. 1 cappuccino and a tea. Unfortunately the cheese in the toasties was processed lumpy, plastic tasting yuk. The chicken seemed to be re heated and the ham stringy. Cappuccino was luke warm and the tea watery..Sorry guys my experience, will determine that I will not return. Please match the look and people and take more care on...

I think this Restaurant is a bit pricey. And the food have very small portions. The Manageress asked a elderly Lady and a middle aged woman and child to go back out in the Torrentual Rain as she would not allow them to shelter out of the very heavy down pour of rain if they were not customers? I have travelled around the world, and never seen any thing so unfriendly and down right rude. If I could give this Restaurant a minus 5. I would.. I take no pleasure in high lighting this bad review. But with a lot of compliments on here, I had a very, very bad experience in this...
