I went there on weekday afternoon... A few people in line.... friendly and efficient lady serving.
Had Whitting in batter, chips and a coke, all for seven Euros. Served wrapped to takeaway...food was hot.
Chips were okay but not good. The two pieces of battered Whitting, was bland and fairly tasteless.
I did ask for freshly fried Cod first, rather than the square shaped battered cod in the warmer display cabinet....as a previous reviewer had said to avoid, but the lady serving said only battered Whitting was the option available as an alternative.
If this is the 'best' 🐟 and chip shop in Limerick, then it's time for a proper traditional fish and chip shop to be established.
