Spent years visiting limerick and never heard of this pub. Don't be fooled by the look of it from outside. This place is up there with some of the best pubs in Ireland! Great Guinness, lovely layout and decor. Good crowd and staff are exactly what you want when you go to a pub. Quick service and great pour. Good sized covered beer garden also. Recommended

Wow can’t believe in all my years in Limerick, that I have never been in this pub .. What a fantastic place , small and cosy ,Fantastic atmosphere, great staff .. Brilliant manager .. Did not want to leave šŸ˜Šā€¦ I would call this a real traditional Irish ( City) Pub … great pint of course

A pub with a classic look but a young (but not too young) crowd. No loos on the ground floor for the disabled though. Friendly and efficient staff. Nice little heated and covered beer garden at the side.

During my father's 4 years at NIHE Tom Collins's was his local, fast forward 40 years and it has also been my local during my time in UL. Tom Collins' has one of the best exteriors you'll see in Ireland, even after all these years going here I still stop in front before heading in for a pint.

The pint here is like drinking a cloud, it's the best in the city. The bar staff know their job well and are always up for a chat.

As much as I love this place I don't agree 100% with some of the reviews that say this pub hasn't been touched by modernisation. The rough edges have been 'smoothened out' like in its sister pub - Nancy Blake's. Although Tom Collins' is much quieter and smaller (no late bar here) there is still piped in music, fake antique lamps and candles in used gin bottles with a big blackboard on the wall. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Make sure you step in here for a pint (or five), the snug alone is worth the visit for Irish...

Absolute disgrace of a venue. Myself and two friends were there a week ago to catch up over a drink. When ordering our second pint we were told we were no longer being served as we had made a ā€œbetā€ on who could pull a female member of staff. Bare in mind one of my friends is engaged, and the other is emigrating to Australia with his partner. Our conversation had consisted of slagging eachother for losing pool earlier in the day. The staff member would not even hear us out as we tried to explain that perhaps they had the wrong group of men and was rude and dismissive. I have never been so insulted in a premises or utterly embarrassed. I will...

Very disappointed with our visit here tonight. We visit here everytime we are out . Love the atmosphere. Unfortunately tonight we ordered two gin and tonics. Barman poured tonic into our gins we told him we did not want him to do this as we prefer to add our own tonic to suit our taste. He was not a bit nice and informed us that it is now policy to add mixer themselves at request from owner. We paid for two gin and tonics not two gin and dash.!! We will not be returning. Greed is a...
