We went for dessert AFTER going to their new restaurant which I will write something about below. Our trip last night was for dessert. We ordered two different types of Kanafe (who knew there was more than the one we all know). The Nutella Kanafe and their Cheese Kanafe, both of which take approximately 15 minutes to make fresh on the spot. Ohhhh myyyyy they were so yummmmy!!! Before going to Abulafia we went to סאבו (Sabu) which is on HaYarkon about a block or two away. I had been watching it be built for over a month was so excited to finally know that it was finally opening. There we had authentic (not like most places in the city) Shwarma and Falefa in their cool new looking location. Both are a must go.

One of the best bakeries around. My only problem was the fact that there was no normal queue and that service was granted without masks and without enforcing masks from other customers! It is, however, possible to circumvent that by order from the front, whilst outdoors.

This place is a stop I make every time I'm in Tel Aviv. Open 24/7 and constantly pulling freshly baked goods out of their ovens, even just thinking about it makes me want to salivate. In the back, they have a seating area if you don't want to just grab your food and go.

Pizza sauce Sambusak - 3.7 - It is an OK Sambusak, not the greatest, they should put more sauce in it. Service - 1.0 - the guy was rolling his eyes when we told him what we want and was somewhat reluctant to serve anyone.. dude, if you do not want to be there don't take it on us..

Also they got the payment wrong and charged my friend 314 ILS instead of 29 ILS, lol, they fixed it after we told them to, but man... That's a...

If you don't have a problem with bishul nochri and don't insist on pat yisrael this is an excellent mid-eastern bakery. A little over a century ago the chief rabbi of Yaffo approached Abulafia at its flagship store, which is still there today, to pay him to stay closed on Passover. Abulafia agreed to stay closed, but refused the compensation. They are still closed on Passover...
