Long post, but for anyone traveling here I suggest you read it before sitting down here.

We found seats for 6 of us. At first sight, the menu looked fine and when we looked up the food on their website it looked appealing so we stayed. We had the most rude person I've literally ever encountered. When it came time to order, she didn't write one thing down. She rolled her eyes any time we asked her for anything (not really sure why since every time we order something the bill goes up). When we first ordered, she continued to tell us that it was "not available". Fine. We found something for all of us. She's messed up two orders. We were very clear that there wasn't an issue with how it tastes (it's very rude to send food back in Israel), but rather she put the order in wrong. In the meantime, my kid is sitting there waiting to eat his meal, hungry because it's late and they do take some time to make the food. We tell him, if he doesn't mind that is wrong he can eat it. He took one bite and says it's not good. My father didn't get his meal correctly until 20 minutes into the rest of the meal service. All the while our server is arguing with us. We get to the end of the meal and were disgusted with the service so, we left a very low gratuity. She then comes over and holds a person in our party chair from being pulled out and demands $50US dollars as it is the law in Israel. We pulled a manager over and he says the same thing. All the while, this seems to be happening at 2-3 other tables. Wrong orders, rude staff, demanding, etc.

If you want a beautiful experience in Tel Aviv, do NOT give this restaurant your money or service....

We had a truly terrible experience at this restaurant, I would say the worst I have ever had! Firstly, they brought the most expensive bottle of wine instead of the one we ordered and claimed they didn't have anything else left. After we said we would rather go without wine, miraculously another bottle became available. We specifically asked for dry wine, but after they opened it, we realized that it was sweet wine which wasn't suitable for the food at all.

We ordered the grouper fish, but they brought seabream instead. Despite this, we still didn't want to spoil our dinner. However, our patience was exhausted when they brought the bill and charged us 169 shekels for the mezze that we didn't even order. The waiter told us it was a compliment from the chef, and we found it inedible in any case. In addition, they double-charged us for the lemonade.

Given the situation, we didn't want to leave any tips, and then the waiter became extremely aggressive and started threatening us, saying that we wouldn't be allowed to leave the restaurant. Our small kids were so afraid that they had nightmares, and they can't stop talking about it for the past few days. We wanted to have a special dinner for our last night in Israel, and it was certainly special, but not in the way we expected.

Please stay away from this place if you want to have...

First we were 2 Anericans and one Israeli and travel to Isra often, the food was good, and the view is pleasant. That's where it ends. After ordering the food Cones out rapidly delivered by 3 different people. The waitress loses the tray and dumps the humus. OK accidents happen! Trying to get a service person to remove plates proved next to impossible. When one of the guests asked for a clean plate and new silverware she got a lecture that we really don't do that here Now for the kicker the check comes, we inform them the hummus never made it back please remove it. Then not our waitress an obnoxious lowlife comes to the table with a new check and the person picking up the tab says add 10%. He starts to ask us what's the matter, the service the food and keeps badgering us. Now we say you know what, NO tip! He keeps at it. Now I chime in and tell him I'm done with you send the manager He comes over with the machine and takes the credit card and again tries to push a tip. At this point my NY comes out and I just said look charge the tab without the tip I've had it with this place and we stormed out So a decent meal with a nice view was ruined by an obnoxious creature who shouldn't be in hospitality biz. 1st and...

(SCAM RESTAURANT - PLEASE AVOID! Details below) The food is just ok, the atmosphere is fine, at best. I had an average meal and paid a very high price for it. I realised only after getting home that I was charged for things I didn’t order and also charged double for some items. I had also tipped 10% which I thought was reasonable at the time (I am not from Israel, but 10% in other establishments here was very well received). After doing so, a very young waiter came over to me, to berate me and angrily explain to me that 10% is not okay. He was particularly rude and curt in doing so. It was quite extraordinary. Although the food was passable (but very expensive) and the atmosphere was ok, I would absolutely never return here due to this treatment, the fake additions to my order which I had to pay for and unkind tone. It could have been dealt with totally differently and I would have even changed my tip. How disappointing.

To be fair, we were there on New Year's Eve for dinner. It was really hectic and we felt it too. The server was friendly, spoke good English but the poor guy had to wait on too many tables. The restaurant is small so they tried to fit as many tables as possible in there which means it was very, very cramped! Our order came very quickly with many little plates of salads. If the tables had been bigger, it would've been perfect. However, the little dishes had to be piled on top of another, and that left no place to actually eat! Then they brought our main dish, fresh bass. We sent it back because there was no way to fit it on the table. The bread basket was already sitting on my lap!! Why the 3 stars even if this was chaos? 1. The location, close to the water. 2. The food was very tasty, especially the fish! A pity that there was no way to indulge in it.

If I could choose zero stars, I would. To say value for money isn’t there is to say nothing. Yes, their selection of small salads that was included with the meal and unlimited was alright but this is a fish restaurant and the main dishes were terrible and overpriced. We paid 125 NIS ($36) for a sea bream and got two tiny dry pieces of fillet filled with bones. The sea food mix for 170 NIS ($50) was simply not good - mussels were chewy, there were maybe 3 shrimps, a tiny half crab and the rest of the plate was cheap calamari. For a chain that positions itself as one of the top and expensive fish restaurants this is simply embarrassing. If you want to dine with a vibe and try good fish better go to Fishop in Sarona, it’s same pricey but at least it’s good.
