Café Café — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

The place was fine. The food was average, and after they served the food they totally forgot about us. We asked for ketchup 3 times, and for the bill 3 times The staff was very nice though well, at least one of them. We asked for the check 4 times and nothing when we went to the waitress to tell her about the experience she told the waiter to give us the check and he answered "don't you see I am doing something here" then the waitress told us you don't understand that we are full . While we where eating the table next to us where smoking the waitress told them to put off the cigarette and they kept smoking. the corn schnitzel was the one you buy at the super it was possibly one of the worst restaurants we've ever been to oh and by the way we tried it a second time after the one in beer sheva just...

When I complained to the hostess, who was the only person who was actually nice, she started to say: "you don't understand" and that's when I cut her off. I explained to her that I am not the one that needs to understand. If I'm complaining, they should be the one understanding.

The food was terrible. My kid's meal was from the supermarket. My salad had no taste. But that's not the worst part. The waiters, they ignore you.

The check I had to ask for multiple times. When they finally brought it, I got tired of waiting for them to pick it up.

I had to ask for ketchup like 4 times.

The table next to us would not stop smoking.

The servers didn't bother to greet us or smile, we had to set the table ourselves, the salad was soggy and it was ultimately very disappointing mainly because we were celebrating a friend's birthday. :( I always tip but this time chose not to and the server kept asking till we gave in and tipped 10%. In addition to that, the cutlery didn't seem clean and our table was covered with a sticky brown liquid.
