Terrible service, terrible food. Right after we sat down the waiter asked us if we are ready to order and when we said we need more time he grunted and was visibly annoyed. We chose to ignore it and not let it ruin our experience so we continued and ordered our food when we’re ready, And we were disappointed. The kids meal chicken fingers were dry and flavorless, the carpaccio we were served was bad and rotten, and when we told the staff they said there was something wrong with the cheese on it and not with the meat even though it was clearly something wrong with the meat. Thankfully they did agree to take it off our bill, that might’ve been the only good experience there, because we still needed to wait 45 minutes for the burger we ordered to be ready, just for it to be overcooked. After the disappointing experience we asked the waiter to divide the bill in a way we each pay for what we paid (group of 5). We even did all the calculations and just asked him to let us each pay a certain amount. He refused and said he’s splitting the bill 5 ways equally and that we can pay each other later. Not to mention that he tried to do this while adding to himself a 30% tip without us agreeing. We stood on business and told him to let us pay how we want and that we will not be leaving a tip due to his arrogant behavior, and in response the waiter called us a group of annoying brats and refused to bring the manager when we requested him. After some more arguing he finally brought the manager, who didn’t even speak to us, he just spoke to the waiter separately and didn’t try to understand what’s going on. After they were done talking, the waiter let us pay for our food and told us to never come back here. After we finally paid we reminded the waiter that we wanted one of our meal packed for to-go (requested before the bill) and the waiter said: “go bring a takeout bag for yourself, you’re not tipping me so why should I provide you service.” After that we decided we had enough and just left....
Read moreThe food is tasty and the service was prompt like it is supposed to be in any restaurant so nothing extraordinary. In the end when asking for the bill the waitress asked if we would like to include ‘the service’ and when asked how much would that be she said 15%. On behalf of the group the total to be paid was about 1500 ILS whereas 15% is quite a lot for a normal service, nothing exceptional, again. Upon not agreeing to pay 15% for the service (as not even mentioned in the beginning or on the menu) but rather 5% to still pay a fair tip, the waitress did not agree but rather felt very offended and called her boss. They have explained that the 15% is the waitress part on top of the order which goes to the restaurant. As a customer don’t care where is the salary of the waitress comming from but I guess the 140ILS is not the cost at the market for a whole seabass. Not saying that the waitress had nothing to do with the value of what we had ordered. All in all I think it’s unfair to charge a percent and even rude to still bargain about it as a waitress not to say as a business owner. In the end we had agreed to pay only 5% as common sense while she had entered a fair 6-7% on the POS.
P.S. On leaving when politely saying sorry and thank you, the waitress replied with ‘I hope you’ll never come back!’
What to say… I hope that until our next visit you change your tips policy and really hope for the waitress that ‘we’ll never see you again!’ but good luck for your future. Wish to go back in time and not agreeing to pay even the 5% for...
Read moreHello Bayz and everyone, I’m extremely sad about what happened. Presenting myself at the outside counter for the take away with my dog. The guy at the counter 05/01/25 at 14:00, asked me for a tip. I legit said no because they were no extra service you did ur job, as I did my job in super pharm at the counter I never asked a tip right ? Why do you ? But okay never mind. His face switched and the service was bad. My lemonade arriving not that cold so - without ice cube. The food arrived at the inside counter somehow and I’m waiting like a dumb man outside, and the same guy came to me, wait you not served ? Man, you’re the only one as I see that working at the outside counter. Even when I asked a cover for my limonade from a guy inside the restaurant he talked to that first guy and I never got it so instead of going to sit where I wanted in calm I’m sitting outside the restaurant with the music. It’s either you tired, either you new, either you got mad.
Thank you not thank you I wanted to give back every thing but the language barrier stopped me.
The salmon came without taste. The potatoes were good, and the...
